The Duggan Robbery is one of the five Salvage YardHeists inGTA Online, and you can use it to make a decent chunk of change. To get started with these robberies, you will need to first set up a Salvage Yard business with brothers Yusuf and Jamal Amir. Of the total five such robberies or heists available, only three can be done each week. The target car changes as well, and you can choose to either salvage it or sell it to Yusuf.
How to complete GTA Online: Salvage Yard Heist - The Duggan Robbery
The Duggan Robbery is not a particularly challenging Salvage Yard Heist inGTA Online, but it is plenty of fun. The objective here is tosteal the Arena War vehiclefrom a private event that is being held at the Maze Bank Arena. Such a job would be challenging on its own, but the risk is even greater since the Duggan Crime Family is hosting it.
As such, there’s a lot of setup involved. A total of seven missions need to be completed before the finale can be launched. The first mission, Scope Out, needs to be done only once; any subsequent The Duggan Robbery won’t have it. There are also two missions, Masks from Tasks and Disrupting Armor from Planning Works, that are optional. Let’s go through all of them.
The Duggan Robbery - Scope Out
Your first job to start off the Salvage Yard’s The Duggan Robbery is to do a bit of recon. Once you’re in free roam, head to Maze Bank Arena. There will be three camera icons marked on themap inGTA Online, and you’ll have to take a picture of each of them. The first picture you need is of the security camera at the primary entrance of the main building.
Once done, head inside the lobby. Take a picture of the backstage door you’ll find on the right side of the entryway.
The next spot, the rear exit, is diametrically opposite to your current location. Head back out, get into your vehicle, and head to the final camera icon. Once there, you will see three rear exits under the Maze Bank Arena’s elevated ground. Take a picture of the central exit.
When you’re done, go back to the Salvage Yard to complete the Scope Out mission inGTA Online’sThe Duggan Robbery.
The Duggan Robbery Planning Work #1 - Bypass Module (Mandatory)
The cars in the Arena War event will be fitted with Immobilizers to prevent them from running outside the Maze Bank Arena. Merryweather develops Bypass Modules, which will help ensure you may successfully steal the target car.
You will need to head to Merryweather’s warehouse to get a hold of the device, but the actual location is being concealed by three Signal Jammers. Your task here is to take down the jammers, head to and infiltrate the warehouse, get the Bypass Module, and make it back to the Salvage Yard.
Once this Planning Work mission starts inGTA Online’sThe Duggan Robbery, head to the three locations marked on the map and destroy the Signal Jammers. Since they are spread out, use ahelicopter like the Sparrow or the Havok,or the Oppressor Mk II to get the job done quickly.
When you have destroyed all three, Jamal Amir will get you the warehouse’s location. Head there, but beware of the security. This is another instance where having the said transport will help as you can easily take out the enemies from a distance. When they’re all dead, simply stroll in and pick up the Bypass Module. All that remains is now to take it back to the Salvage Yard.
The Duggan Robbery Planning Work #2 - VIP Pass (Mandatory)
The VIP Pass is a crucial part of your inventory as you will need it to access the Duggans’ VIP box in this Salvage Yard Heist inGTA Online. This is from where you will get access to the pit lane and the target car. To get the pass, you will need to head to the abandoned warehouse under the Maze Bank Arena. It is in the same spot as the rear exit you marked in The Duggan Robbery’s Scope Out mission earlier.
Once you’re in there, you will need to access Peter’s office to get the VIP Pass. To get into it, you will need a keycard. It spawns in one of the ground floor offices at random, which makes things tricky. The warehouse may be abandoned, but working security cameras are present. Dodge the light cones as you go through the offices one by one. Once you acquire the keycard, be careful and make your way to Peter’s office to get the pass.
When you pick up the pass, enemies will enter the garage and you will have a gunfight on your hands. When you’re taking them out, ensure that you are properly kitted out and remember to keep healing yourselfin thisheist inGTA Online. Once back in free roam, all you have to do is head back to the Salvage Yard.
The Duggan Robbery Planning Work #3 - Disrupt Armor (Optional)
When you’re in this Salvage Yard Heist’s finale, you will have to engage in a gunfight against the Duggans’ private security in the Maze Bank. Although the Disrupt Armor mission is optional in The Duggan Robbery, it ensures that there are less number of enemies who have body armor in the endgame. Since bonus challenges will be present then, including getting a certain number of headshots, it is better to make the job as easy as possible for the future.
Once you start Disrupt Armor, you will have 10 minutes to get the job done. For the overall usability and speed, it’s again recommended to have a chopper or theOppressor Mk II inGTA Online. Once you have it, head to the Duggans’ lockup in Cypress Flats, kill the enemies present there, and find a black folder with shipment details. Ensure you’re fully kitted out and have strong weapons, say a grenade launcher, on hand to take them out.
When you have the folder, the locations of three vehicles with the armor shipment will be marked across the map. Once you take them all out, this mission in The Duggan Robbery will be completed, and you will have made the Salvage Yard Heist’s finale a lot easier for yourself inGTA Online.
The Duggan Robbery Task #1 - LS Panic Trailer (Mandatory)
The LS Panic Trailer nets you the said truck, which is important to infiltrate the Maze Bank Arena without setting off any alarms. According to Jamal, it will get the job done since the workers are used to seeing it around.
To get started, ensure you are properly kitted out with armor, consumables, andthebest weapons inGTA Online.Then, head to Richards Majestic (the icon will be marked on the map). Once you get the call from Jamal, enter the big gates and go to the yellow marker in the left alley. When you enter the warehouse, there will be a shootout. Kill all the enemies inside and take off with the LS Panic Trailer.
Once you exit the warehouse, you will have to lose the cops on your way to stash the trailer. There is a decent distance to be traveled to La Puerta Fury and the roads provide enough support to help lose the wanted levels. So, there won’t be much of a problem getting there unscathed. When you reach the marker and park the trailer, this job will be done.
The Duggan Robbery Task #2 - Outfits (Mandatory)
This is a pretty simple task that requires very little effort. Head to the green icon marked on the map and Jamal will call you about acquiring LS Panic outfits to blend in with fans in the Maze Bank Arena. Head right across the road into a Suburban store and pick up the marked duffel bag from behind the counter.
Once you leave the store, you will have a 2-Star Wanted Level. If you’ve been running the missions with the Oppressor Mk II or one of thefastest cars inGTA Online, you won’t have much trouble with the cops. Simply race away to the Salvage Yard and deliver the outfits.
The Duggan Robbery Task #3 - Masks (Optional)
This task is optional, but you can get a free mask to customize your character’s appearance. The stated objective is that wearing a mask will reduce the number of pursuers once you steal the vehicle, but the difference is minor at best.
If you are in the area, head down to the mask shop in Vespucci Beach and get yourself a free mask.
GTA Online Salvage Yard Heist - The Duggan Robbery Finale
Before you get started with the finale, remember that you can make an extra $50,000 if you complete all the bonus challenges in Salvage Yard Heist’s The Duggan Robbery. Here’s a look at the breakdown:
Once again,register as a CEO inGTA Onlineto start the mission from the computer in the Salvage Yard. Your first port of call is to drive to La Puerta Fury, take the LS Panic Trailer, and head to Maze Bank Arena. Once you reach the marker, leave the vehicle and head inside the building. Show the VIP Pass to the guard on the right, and head down to the elevator that connects to the private box.
Brace yourself because as soon as you head out, a grueling shootout will commence. Take cover behind the plenty of options available, and ensure you get headshots. Once done, head to the viewing windows and look through the telescope to find the target car. Then, take the green-lit seat and control the drone, but don’t go in for the disable right away. Take your time to line up the shot and then make your move. This is important if you want to make the extra cash.
Once the car is disabled, head to the door behind you on the right to get to the pit lane. There will be enemies present here as well, so you may get more headshots to confirm your count. Go right up to the target car and start driving towards the exit while the Bypass Module gets installed. The marker will get activated only when the bar is completed. Once done, head out the exit.
Now, the final stretch of the Salvage Yard Heist’s The Duggan Robbery is very simple - you need to reach Hao’s shop in one minute. Initially you’re meant to go directly to the Salvage Yard, but it turns out the car has a bomb.
Once you leave, the Duggans’ will come after you, but they won’t be able to catch you. This will be particularly easy if you’ve spent some time grinding out thehardest races inGTA Online. One important and fortunate point to note here is that the timer gets activated after a few lines of dialogue, which are enough to cross a decent chunk of distance.
As soon as you’re out the exit, speed across the big road. Don’t take any turns and keep going straight ahead; the path to Hao is simple, straight, and wide. This gives you an exceptional opportunity to simply race away without a concern. There are a couple of turns right towards the end, but for almost all of it, you’re good.
After Hao disables the bomb, simply head back to the Salvage Yard inGTA Online. The extra cash from the bonus challenges will be credited, and you’re able to head to the target car to sell it to Yusuf or salvage it for parts. Since selling it nets more money, even if you have to deliver it, it’s recommended you go for that.
