It’s a bit of a strange time to be aHarry Potter Wizards Uniteplayer. The game just announced it will beclosing down at the end of January 2022, but it also is just rolling out its brand new Lethal Adversaries. Despite the end being on the horizon, today kicks off the very first of the new event type.
The Barty Crouch Jr. Lethal Adversaries event is scheduled to kick off inHarry Potter Wizards Uniteon November 5 and players will have through November 8 at 11am PT to race around defeating villains, enjoying some exciting features, and working through a list of tasks to earn special rewards.

Players are likely already aware, but since the Adversaries events are so muchshorter than Brilliant Eventsthe list of tasks to complete won’t be quite as long. This particular Adversaries event is Barty Crouch Jr. focused and will feature some interesting challenges. The following features will all be active during the event’s three day run time.

Use 6 Potions in Adversary Encounters 1 Silver Key

Return 6 Mad-Eye Moody’s Eye Foundables 2 Strong Exstimulo Potions
Earn 1500 Challenge XP Through Wizarding Challenges and/or Adversary Chains 40 Gold

As has become tradition over the last few months, the Adversaries event is adding a bunch of DADA books to the pile of rewards for players who make it to the end. That means that there is a very strong list of task and completion rewards, so witches and wizards should have plenty of motivation to get into the game early this week and put some time into participating in the short event. Thepile of DADA booksshould almost certainly be enough to motivate the average player to participate - even if the game is coming to a close soon.
