As stated in the video, the mod aims to enable players to “live out the Clone Wars in video game form.” It brings playableStar Warscharacters, such as Captain Rex, Commander Cody, and Hunter, alongside foes, including B1 droids, B2 droids, and Droidekas, to theonline co-op game. In addition, ToastedShoes also uploaded a nearly 25-minute long video showing theStar Warsmod forHelldivers 2in action.
Star Wars Mod Coming to Helldivers 2
According to ToastedShoes, their team still has work to do on theStar Warsmod and, hence, it isn’t currently available for the public to download. The video of the mod only shows someStar Wars-themed skins, with many other items, such asHelldivers 2weapons, understandably sticking to their default look. However, given that the mod is still in development, there may be chances of moreStar Warsstuff being added as the days progress.
The announcement of theHelldivers 2mod has been rising in popularity and has attracted the interest of players.
