It’s only natural in situations like this for players to suggest some ideas for how their own favorites can make it into that meta.
Redditor Error404-NoUsername- came up with the amazing suggestion to allow players to point their Flamethrowers downward while using theJump Pack inHelldivers 2. As it works right now, the player automatically points it up into the air while using the Jump Pack, effectively removing any chance of burning an enemy. This suggestion would buff both the Flamethrower and Jump Pack, making them much more useful on the battlefield. Plus, it would undoubtedly look extremely cool in action.

So far, Arrowhead Game Studios has done a fantastic job of capitalizing on the success ofHelldivers 2and frequently updating the game with new content to keep the experience fresh. Recently, theHelldivers 2CEO said no to a much-wanted customization feature. While this is definitely a stubborn approach, it also has to be applauded. The studio is making the game it wants to make, and anything that doesn’t fit its vision won’t be added. It’s an approach that has certainly served the developer well so far.
