At the top of the list, with an impressive 98.9% usage rate, sits thefamous Nihility five-star character Black Swan. She was released back in Version 2.0 alongside Imbibitor Lunae. She is one of the most powerfulHonkai: Star RailDPS characters, whose kit relies on applying DoT effects. Black Swan’s damage potential revolves around her Arcana debuff, which deals Wind damage to enemies affected by a DoT effect. This five-star character places Tarot Cards upon her enemies, and their impact is decided at the start of the next turn.

Black Swan has incredible synergy with one of thebest DPS units inHonkai: Star Rail, Kafka, who took the second spot on the list with a 94.8% usage rate. She is also a DoT damage dealer whose damage potential excels when paired with another DoT character such as Black Swan. Kafka has a very flexible kit that allows her to be used as a regular Crit DPS unit in many different team compositions.
The recently released Aventurine took third place on the list with an 86.5% usage rate. He arrived in the second part of thepreviousHonkai: Star RailVersion 2.1. The fact that he follows the Path of Preservation makes Aventurine a very flexible support who can fit in almost any party type that needs a powerful shielder.
