What is Known About Honkai: Star Rail’s Fourth World

At the end of the “Farewell, Penacony” story quest, the Astral Express Crew starts discussing where they will go next, naming worlds like Lushaka and Melustanin as possible destinations. Black Swan interjects and suggests going to Amphoreus, a planet where evenAkivili the Trailblazenever reached. It’s said that it’s hidden away from outside view and can only be seen through the light of the Garden of Recollection’s mirrors.

In ancient Greek, Amphoreus refers to a type of container that can hold up to nine gallons of liquid. Its Japanese name, “onparosu,” also means “omphalos,” which is a religious stone artifact that represents the navel of the Earth in ancient Greek. In other words, it’s the Earth’s core, which is the hottest part of the planet and matches with the rumor that the next world would be Thermae-inspired.

Meanwhile, there are hints that the Thermae-inspired elements might be pointing at a world with Greek and Roman-inspired architecture. There’s also some speculation that5-star character Dr. Ratiomight be connected to the next world because his first name is Veritas, who is the Roman goddess of truth. The marble statues that he conjures during battle and the marble head that he often wears are also heavily inspired by Greek and Roman sculptures.

Interestingly, Dr. Ratio’s bio states that his home planet is simply “Cosmic,” so it’s still unknown where he came from.

The Possible Gimmicks of the Fourth World Amphoreus

Based on leaks,Honkai: Star Rail’s fourth worldwill reportedly involve some form of “time bending,” which might potentially give players the ability to control time while exploring the world and fighting enemies. This seems to be quite similar to Penacony’s theme of clockwork, butHonkai: Star Railmight improve it for Amphoreus.

One interesting gimmick thatHonkai: Star Railcould pull off in Amphoreus is to play around the concept of temperature, especially fire, because of the supposed Thermae theme. This could mean having more Fire-type characters, or characters who have the special ability to control the elements on the planet. With Amphoreus' mysterious vibe, it’s only fitting for its inhabitants to surpriseHonkai: Star Railplayers with abilities that could shake up the meta even further.

When Will Honkai: Star Rail Launch the Fourth World, Amphoreus?
