InGenshin Impact1.1, comes the conclusion to Zhongli’s Archon Quest, in whichGenshin Impactplayers have to face Childe (Tartaglia) at one point of the story. The Fatui awaits the Traveler in the Golden House as he attempts to steal the Geo Archon’s Gnosis.
Alas, the connector to Celestia was nowhere to be found. Seeing how the Traveler is at the same location as he is, Childe accuses them of stealing the Gnosis ahead of him.The Harbinger then transforms into his Foul Legacy form using his Delusion. Now the real fight begins, andGenshin Impactplayers have to beat Childe before hedefeats them.
Preparing For The Fight
Childe’s weekly boss fight consists of three phases:
After the loading screen finishes, players will be transported inside the domain, where they’ll be standing on the edge of the arena. During this time,Childe will remain dormant, and players have to approach him to trigger the agro. As the enemy will not attack until then, players can utilize this time to do some pre-fight preparation. For example, this might include changing gears, healing, regaining cooldown, casting shield,or eating food.
Starting The Fight
The first thing players need to understand when going into battle is Childe’sRiptide mark. When getting hit by Childe’s Electro or Hydro attacks, he may leave a debuff on the character that will deal additional damage on the next hit.
It’s not an issue if the character is protected by a shield, but if not, players can easily remove this mark by walking to the edge of the arena. The area of the minting house is filled with Pyro aura, so walking towards it willcreate a cleansing Elemental reaction.Doing so will not damage the character, nor throw the character when Overloaded occurs.

However, this can also go sideways. If players got themselves affected by Pyro, and then Hydro or Electro, they’ll be affected by the triggered Elemental reaction,so be careful and don’t get knocked by Overloaded. This same concept also applies to abilities that self-infuse an Element, notablyBennett’s Burst.
Final Phase Ultimate Moves
Tartaglia’s transformation marks his final phase, andplayers will beat Childe after they empty his HP in this mode. OnceTartagliaactivated his Foul Legacy mode, he will gain three new deadly moves:
Other than utilizing the Elemental Burst i-frame, here’s what players can do to avoid various attacks.
Celestial Voyager
Tartaglia summons a Monoceros Caeli, dealing Hydro damage in a large AoE.Dash to the sideto avoid getting hit.
Arrow Rains
Childe summons four arrows that cover most of the arena.Either stand in the center or the edge, where the circles don’t hit.
Electro Ring
This move is likely the most complicated attack to avoid. Childe will mark the character with an Electro Ring, and players have torun to the edge of the arena to remove it. Afterward, the debuff will be taken off and will stay at the removed spot.
Now,dash away from the ringas the Harbinger will still attack it even after removal.
