Articuno,a part of the Legendary Bird triointroduced in the first generation of Pokemon, is obtainable inThe Indigo DiskinPokemon ScarletandViolet.Once you reach the post-game of the second expansion, you can talk to a man named Snacksworth, who will give you an Articuno Treat. Once receiving this treat, Articuno will appear in the Paldea region.
How to Get Articuno Treat in The Indigo Disk
To get this treat from Snackworth, it’ll take some time going around completing BBQs; depending on the version of Pokemon you are playing, it could take just ten solo quests, or it may require hopping online to play with friends, completing group quests to get thelegendaries accessible from solo quests in the other version.
Snacksworth will be standing towards the right side of the turnstiles, with a yellow text bubble at the entrance of the Blueberry Academy.
Articuno Location in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
Once you have received theArticuno Treat from Snacksworth, you must fly to Paldeato find the Flying/Ice type. To get there fast, you will need to fly to Montenevera,where the Hyper Trainer may also be found. Articuno will be waiting by a lake with a mini island in the middle with a tree. Getting there is very quick and easy with the flying mechanic you get from Amarys after completing the story.

Be sure to stock up on plenty of Poke Balls and to save before encountering Articuno. If you accidentally knock it out, there will be some time before it returns.
Articuno Moveset and Weaknesses/Resistances
Articuno is a dual Flying/Ice-type. It has a few weaknesses and even fewer resistances, taking normal damage from 11 different types. Articuno will receive four times the normal damage from Rock-type moves and double from Fire, Electric, and Steel. Articunoresists two types, Bug and Grass, with an immunity to Ground.
Using a Pokemon with the move False Swipe and putting Articuno to Sleep or paralyzing it will give you the best chance to catch it, but be sure to eat a sandwich beforehand and buff up your catch rate.
