Players visitingJagged Peakfor the first time will be met with an extraordinary sight. Strong gusts of wind, lightning strikes, and dead bodies of lesser drakes can be found throughout the journey to the top of Jagged Peak. However, players will also come across live dragons who are pretty challenging to beat, and the most dangerous one is located at the top.
Jagged Peak is one of the early locationsin the DLC, meaning no major boss needs to be slain beforehand to reach this location. For players who are struggling, this guide outlines how to reach the location ofBayle the DreadinElden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree.
How To Reach Jagged Peak
To reach the Jagged Peak Elden Ring, players must go to theCastle FrontSite of Grace. From the Grace, head south, following the road until youreach Dragon’s Pit. Inside the Dragon’s Pit, you must defeatAncient Dragon-Manand head out to Charo’s Hidden Grave, where you will find theGrand Altar of Dragon Communion. Summon Torrent and head north, then northeast to reach theFoot of the Jagged PeakSite of Grace.
From the Foot of the Jagged Peak Site of Grace, ride south until you reach an open area where two dragons are fighting each other. You can take this to your advantage and deal with them both by acquiring aDragon Heart. After defeating theJagged Peak Drakehead southeast andjump up the Spiritspringtwice. Go through the right pathway leading into a cave where two rock boulders will come crashing down towards you. To avoid being hit by these boulders, you can ride on the right side and turn left once the path is clear.
In the area up ahead, you will come acrossAncient Dragon Sennessax. Defeating it will give you anAncient Dragon Smithing Stoneand aSomber Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone. After the boss fight, head northeast and interact with theJagged Peak MountainsideSite of Grace. From the Grace, head southwest up the rocks until you reach a Spiritspring, where you can jump high to the upper level.
Keep proceeding in the southwest direction, being mindful of the gaps so you do not fall.
You will need to jump up using a few more Spiritsprings to reach an area filled with dragon carcasses. Head east, then turn left to come across the final Spiritspring, thus reaching theJagged Peak SummitSite of Grace. Straight ahead will be the boss gate for Bayle the Dread.
