At the same time, there are certain rewards associated with exploring New York in a certain way. Aside from the many collectibles and events that players can partake in, the PlayStation exclusive also has some trophies that can only be unlocked by following a particular path. This guide will demonstrate just how to get the Soar trophy in the game for glidingusing the Web Wings from the Financial District all the way to Astoria.
How to Get the Soar Trophy in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
To begin, players can make their way over to theFinancial DistrictinMarvel’s Spider-Man 2, which can be found at the southern end of the map. This is where players must start using their Web Wings if they hope to obtain the Soar trophy.
Before starting the flight, it is also recommended that playersunlock a couple of Suit Tech upgrades. This includes theAmazing Wings Suit Tech upgrade, which increases the amount of time that can spent gliding in the air, as well asSpectacular Wings, which will grant better turning ability while in the air.
Now, look towards the waterfront in the Financial District and use R3 to scan the area. This will reveal awind tunnel headed towards the east. Get some height by swinging or using a charged jump, and then hit Triangle to activate the Web Wings. Follow the wind tunnel to fly across the water safely, and be sure to pull up once the last boost is activated.
Now, turn to the left slightly tofind another set of wind tunnels following a highwaystill orientated to the east this time around. Be sure to use R3 to scan if the wind tunnels are hard to find. Follow it through and pull up once again. This time, look for thenext wind tunnel that can be seen between two buildings, which will be heading north.
At the end of this tunnel,look for some updraftsjust straight ahead to get even more elevation. This will make it easier to get to the next northward wind tunnel just to the left.Continue on this path while avoiding the buildingson either side and getting to the next wind tunnel just shortly after.
Eventually, the river will appear, somake use of the updrafts to the left to get some height and aim for the next wind tunnelsection near a crane. Just follow the path, and players can reach Astoria safely, triggering the trophy along the way for a job well done.
