Quandrix College, also known as the College of Numeromancy, focuses on learning to wield power over the fundamental mathematics of nature. Students who attend this college learn to increase their knowledge or even their physical size by manipulating numbers.

Quandrix Philosophy
The philosophy of Quandrix College revolves around mathematics, physics, logic, statistics, metaphysics, andvarious fields of theoretical magic. The two deans of Quandrix College are the Dean of Substance and the Dean of Theory.
The study of Substance focuses on how math is embodied in the natural forces of the multiverse. While the study of Theory focuses on the abstract and possibility.
Graduates who embrace the perspective of theory learn to weave illusions and manipulate the fabric of magic. Likewise, graduates who embrace substance learn to create and alter physical reality using mathematical possibilities.
Students attending other colleges can occasionally visit some of the coursework provided at Quandrix.
Founder
Tanazir Quandrixis one of the most powerful masters of magic revolving around governing physical reality and theoretical abstraction. The dragon is the founder of Quandrix College and is able to alter existence and manipulate thought flow.

Tanazir’s breath weapon is apowerful reflection of Quandrix College’s magic. If a creature fails its Constitution saving throw, it will suffer the effects of force damage (13d6) and psychic damage (13d6). The creature will also become inflicted with the Weakened status effect, meaning it has a disadvantage on attack rolls (Strength), ability checks, and saving throws.
Tanazir is also able to summon up to four Fractal Mascots that obey her commands.
Campus Grounds
Students exploring the Quandrix campus will have an entire coastal region to venture out in. The campus is also surrounded by lush woodlands and abundant rivers and streams. Much like the ever-changing halls of Hogwarts, the central hall of the Quandrix campus is on an ever-changing three-dimensional grid.
The campus features plenty of sculptures made of water, one of which also hides a secret room used for studying theoretical possibilities. Druids will want to visit the Cultivarium and study the vast array of unique fractal plant and animal life that the garden houses.
Faculty
The Dean of Substance at Quandrix College, Kianne, encouragesusing mathematics to understand nature. The Dean of Theory, Imbraham, seeks out ways to solve the mysteries of the world using theoretical magic.

Quandrix students will also have a chance to meet the twin Triton instructors Adrix and Nev. Adrix is a Professor of Substance, while Nev is a Professor of Theory. Both grew up neara powerful magic snarl, which allowed their powers to excel.
Another Quandrix Professor, Ruxa, appears as a bipedal brown bear. Players may find themselves gaining a deeper understanding of the fundamentals from this instructor.
Quandrix Scholars
There are eight available Scholar options so that GMs can craft additional students and faculty. Players may also find that they want to create a character whose goal is to become one of these Scholars.

Scholars in these fields are able to use magic to create stretch the possibilities of space and manipulate the size of plants and animals. Some Scholars simply wish tostudy all types of magical phenomena.
Background & Feat
Players are also able to choose an optional background for their characters. If a player does not want to use one of the backgrounds present in the Players Handbook or any other sourcebook, they can choose to use the Quandrix Student background.
Whether a player chooses to lean more towards physics, mathematics, or metaphysics is entirely up to them. Players gain proficiencies in both Arcana and Nature. Characters that may not have originally gained those proficiencies in their class can still benefit from attending Quandrix.
In addition, players will also receive the Strixhaven Initiate feat. The feat grants players two cantrips as well as a first-level spell that can be cast without using a spell slot.
Mascot
The result of a group project, the mascot of Quandrix College is a fractal that obsesses over infinity. Esix is a living theorem, that despite several of the professors' best efforts to deactivate, is unable to be shut down.
Esix does not register the attempts to shut it down as a threat, however, instead, the fractal is preoccupied with solving its calculations. Esix is not the only fractal and players may find themselves encountering their own creations or the creations of their fellow students.
Fractal Mascots can change their appearance, making themselves larger or smaller. They are also able to change their density, to suit their needs.
