AlthoughCreature Commandosand the Amanda Waller series will be released first,Superman Legacytruly launches Gunn and Safran’s vision. Written by Gun, the film will not be an origin story and instead focuses on Superman as he tries to balance his Kryptonian heritage and human upbringing. Safran noted that he hopes Gunn can be persuaded to direct the film. A Batman movie based on Grant Morrison’sThe Brave and the Boldis also part of the slate, and it isnot connected to Robert Pattinson’sThe Batmantrilogy.
