Kirby and the Forgotten Landmay be a pretty breezy experience for most players, especiallythose who chose the easier difficulty mode, but there are still tons of hidden things and collectibles to unlock for each stage. This guide will go over all the missions and hidden Waddle Dees for the Burning,Churning Power Plant level inKirby and the Forgotten Land.
Burning, Churning Power Plant Missions

Cup of Coffee 1
Before hitting a red switch near the start of the stage, look to the right to see some blocks with a coffee cup sitting on top of them, along with one of the wolf enemies.
Waddle Dee 1 / Control Room / Capsule 1
After hitting the red switch, the two long platforms will roll back into the wall, and then they will slowly start to move toward Kirby. Don’t get squished by them, and once players come closer to the end of the path, look on the right to see some destroyable wooden boxes. Break them, and jump inside the space tofind a Waddle Dee.
Now, walk over to the left to see a hidden entrance to the secret control room. In the room, players will find the first capsule and some coins.
Capsule 2 and Capsule 3
Go back to the beginning of the stage to find a tall ladder leading to a secret room that has two capsules in it for players to get.
The first one will be lying on the floor next to theCrash copy ability, but to get the second one, players need to break all the boxes in the middle of the room.
Then, inhale thevending machine with Mouthful Mode, and break the metal boxes that spell out HAL, the name of theKirbydevelopment team. Once all the boxes are broken, the next capsule will appear, as well as lots of coins and healing items.
Coffee Cup 2
When players get to a section when they need to collect some green shards, and there are machines trying to flatten Kirby, look near the cannon to find the next coffee.
Waddle Dee 2
Collecting all the green shards in the area will unlock the door that is hiding the secondWaddle Dee.
Capsule 4
After passing through a section of cannons shooting fireballs, look underneath the machine that moves up and down. It’s on the main path, so players should not miss it.
Deep Sleep Blueprint / Waddle Dee 3
Instead of going through the door to the next area after grabbing the previous capsule, walk to the south to find a lantern that can belit with the fire Copy Ability. Igniting it will slow down the machine to the right, and there will be a line of coins to follow.
Go to the top of the machine, and float with Kirby to the left to find a hidden path leading to the blueprint.
Now, go through the secret door to find a challenge room with a Waddle Dee inside as the reward. Light the rope with fire, and then take control of the stairs. Players will need to shift around so that the stairs don’t come into contact with the moving flame. Once it’s all clear, quickly move to the switch, spit out the stairs, and hop inside the cannon to find the Waddle Dee.
Coffee Cup 3 / Capsule 5
WhenKirby and the Forgotten Landplayers reach a section where they have to run away from a moving wall with deadly spikes, reach the end to find a coffee cup atop some wooden boxes.
Drop into the hole to reach the lower level, and, while running to the left, keep an eye out for the capsule sitting on some metal boxes.
Waddle Dee 4 / Capsule 6
Before dropping into the second hole while being chased by the spikes, inhale the vending machine on the left.
Drop down and use the cans to break the cracked blue shutter door at the end of the path. Follow the path to find the next Waddle Dee.
Drop into the hole next to the Waddle Dee, and then break the lonely wooden box sitting in the corner to find a toy capsule.
Waddle Dee 5
Go into the next section as the vending machine, and go through the rectangle-shaped gaps to avoid falling into the lava.When the cone and the ring appear, suck up the cone to fit through the triangle-shaped hole. Now, players will see a large cracked spot on the ground. Use the cone’s power to break it to find the last Waddle Dee.
Don’t Get Squished
This one is pretty self-explanatory, but basically,Kirby and the Forgotten Landplayersneed to get through the entire level without getting squished by the dangerous machinery. It might help players to run through the stage a second time once they have the hang of how the stage is structured. Being patient will help.
