Between the Star Coins and Rare Stones, it’s the Rare Stones that will prove more tedious to collect inKirby and the Forgotten Land. These are new items that, as one would guess, are less abundant than Star Coins and even Gotcha Capsules. Unlike the latter two, Rare Stones can’t be found in normal levels. Instead, players will need to completeKirby and the Forgotten Land’s Treasure Roads.
Rare Stones are necessary for unlocking and powering up Copy Abilities. Since they’re not common collectible items, players will find their Rare Stone farming methods extremely limited compared to Star Coin farming.

Complete the Treasure Roads
There are a total of 57 Treasure Roads inKirby and the Forgotten Land. These are unlocked as Kirby gains more Copy Abilities and Mouthful Modes. Some Treasure Roads are hidden and require players to “Search” in the overworld map. Players can check how many Treasure Roads they’re missing by pressing the Y-button to open Level Selection, and then switching to the Treasure Roads screen.
Each Treasure Road givesoneRare Stone upon completion. Fortunately, players won’t need to meet the Target Time to get the Rare Stone, and getting theTarget Time won’t give them an extra Rare Stone. Some Treasure Roads are harder than others, so equip Kirby with a Speed Buff from the Item Shop if necessary.
If a Treasure Road isn’t appearing, then it means Kirby hasn’t unlocked a certain Copy Ability. Always search for Blueprints to give to the Waddle Dee at the Weapons Shop.
Enter Passwords at Waddle Dee-liveries
Rescuing 50 Waddle Dees will unlock the Waddle Dee-liveries postal service. Here, players can enter Present Codesto get special in-game gifts. So far, there are only three Present Codes that will give Kirby free Rare Stones.
Once a Present Code has been used, it cannot be used again for that File.
The following Present Codes give Rare Stones:
Rare Stones in Isolated Isles: Forgo Dreams
After beating the main story, Kirby and Elfilin will be able to explore the Isolated Isles: Forgo Dreams. There are a total of 5 levels in the Isolated Isles, each with fragments of Leon’s Soul. These levels function a bit differently, combining all the levels from one of the previously-explored worlds into one level.
Players will already have their hands full collecting Leon’s Soul, but if they look around, they may notice a switch or something out of place. Check everything, and Kirby may be lucky enough to find a chest containing a Rare Stone. There arefive hidden Rare Stonesin the Isolated Isles.

Compete in The Ultimate Cup Z
Defeating Clawroline in the third worldwill unlock the Colosseum in Waddle Dee Town. Players will be able to enter theMeta Knight Cup, which consists of six consecutive boss fights with 500 Star Coins and one Rare Stone as a reward. Fortunately, players can do the Meta Knight Cup repeatedly to get a Rare Stone for only 6 battles.
Once players complete the main story,Ultimate Cupwill become available. There are now 12 boss fights with a reward of1500 Star Coinsandone Rare Stone.
Finally, after beating the postgame, theUltimate Cup Zwill be unlocked. Like the Ultimate Cup, there are 12 boss fights, but they’re much harder and have better defense and attack. The final boss of the Ultimate Cup Z is Chaos Elfilis,an upgraded version of Fecto Elfilis. However, the reward of2500 Star Coinsand3 Rare Stonesis worth the trouble.
One way to make the tournaments easier is by buffing up Kirby before entering. Kirby can gain buffs from theEternal SleepCopy Ability, but he will need to purchase Attack and Speed power-ups at the Item Shop if players want to stack buffs.
If players havecompleted all 57 Treasure Roads, found the Rare Stones in the Isolated Isles, andentered the Rare Stone-giving Present Codes, then the Colosseum is theonlyplace left to get Rare Stones.
Use Rare Stones to Power Up Kirby’s Copy Abilities
When using Blueprints at the Weapons Shop, Kirby will need a set amount of Rare Stones to pay the Waddle Dee shop owner. As one would expect, the stronger the Blueprint, the more Rare Stones he’ll ask from Kirby.
Once players unlock the postgame, they’ll have a new option at the Weapons Shop. Here, they canPower Uptheir Copy Abilities by pressing X-button on the Copy Ability page. Powering Up Copy Abilities is a hefty price, with the final (+3) Copy Ability requiringfive Rare Stones. The Morpho Knight Blueprint alonecostsfiveRare Stones to use, andanother fiveto reach its maximum Power Up.
