The Arespear products are due for release in September and there are three core systems. There is a significant difference in the price of the models depending on the specs. The lower-end model is The Arespear C300 which contains a 5-9400F processor, a GTX 1650, as well as 8GB of DDR4-2666 memory and a 512GB SSD. This model will be available around $1,750 but the more impressive models will cost a fair amount more.Konamiis offering two higher-end models The Arespear C700 and C700+ which cost around $3015 and $3,225 respectively. These systems will give players some impressive hardware and contain a water-cooled i7-9700, as well as an RTX 2070 Super and a 16GB DDR4-2666 memory. The “+” version primarily adds to the visual qualities of the hardware as it has window lighting that looks aesthetically pleasing.
The hardware looks set to give players fantastic audio and competitive specs alongside a trusted brand. The hardware may sell well because of its strong features, however, it should be noted that an ethernet cable is required to connect to the internet as the systems are not wireless. Despite this drawback, this new venture may continue theimpressive success of Konami.
The growth of the company has undoubtedly led to less focused content and fans are, unsurprisingly, eager to find out aboutKonami’s IPsand their future. However, it seems that the company is managing to make a profit by exploring new avenues and with that in mind this practice will likely continue. This hardware appears to show Konami doubling down on exploring new revenue streams and it will be interesting to see if it pays off.
