Throughout Markiplier’s career, his fans would witness him getting medical attention for a broken foot and intestinal obstructions, prompting several memes making fun of his misfortunes. Although he’s found the jokes funny, the content creator still makes an effort to stay safe and avoid injuries—evensaying no to content creator boxing events.

On Markiplier’s birthday last June 28, he posted a photo of himself in the hospital once again. This time, he was getting treated for his inflamed eyes, which terrified many of his followers. He uploaded aYouTubevideo a couple of days later where he explained that his eyes turned red after going “too deep in the blood.” Fortunately, the affliction wasn’t too serious, and Markiplier’s eyes went back to normal in no time.

In the video, Markiplier went through the hilarious memes fans made, with most of them saying that the red eyes made him look high. He also said that his mom, who fans affectionately called Momiplier, was initially worried when she found out about his hospital trip. She also shared with fans that Markiplier got inflamed eyes while shooting the upcoming film adaptation offirst-person thriller gameIron Lung.

Many fans were also speculating thatMarkiplier was doing a shoot for theFive Nights at Freddy’smovie. But if he was covered in blood, it would make sense that he was working onIron Lungbecause the game explores a moon with an ocean of blood. Markiplier also promised in his latest YouTube video that a new trailer for the movie would be coming out soon. This could possibly be the full trailer since the teaser was released over two months ago.

Markiplier seemed to be in good spirits despite everything that happened, and many were relieved to see that he was okay. Amid all the jokes about his situation, there was also valid concern regarding his health, especially since there had been content creators andstreamers hospitalized in critical condition.
