Marvel’s Avengerscontinues to dole out content and updates in the midst of its Embracer acquisition, and while fans do not know exactly what they should expect for the future of the ensemble superhero game, it is exciting to see Crystal Dynamics iterating upon what is commonly added to the game. For example, whileJane’s Mighty Thor does echo Thor in some ways, she is still a unique character of her own. This article will haveSPOILERSforAvengers: Endgame.
ButMarvel’s Avengers’ future is also looking bright, withrumors suggesting that Bucky Barnes’ Winter Soldier could be its next playable character. Marvel’s Avengershas announced that the newest cosmetic skin to appear is none other than Iron Man’s battle-damaged Mark 85 armor, sans helmet, wielding the Infinity Stones in its right gauntlet. This armor isinspired byAvengers: Endgameand is an incredibly unique cosmetic outfit for Iron Man, let aloneMarvel’s Avengers, and adds to the limited catalog of Iron Man suits that reveals Tony Stark’s face. This outfit, dubbed Snap, features Tony moments before his death in the MCU, as using the Stones overwhelmed him.
The Snap skin’s detailing looks fantastic and tells the story of what Tony sacrificed to rescind what Thanos was capable of achieving with the Stones. Doctor Strange was able to see this future as a plausible scenario and without hinting at what that would look like, Tony took it upon himself to be a self-sacrifice for the universe inAvengers: Endgame.
Marvel’s Avengersmay also be in its own endgame, as its acquisition to Embracer Group leaves its future undecided. Embracer may want to shelve the IP for a time due to all the negative reception it has earned since its launch as a multiplayer live-service title, but it is also possible that it finds new life with Embracer that reinvigorates it.
Eager fans can rejoice as this unique skin is available for purchase in the Marketplace tomorrow. It is unknownif battle-damaged skins will become a new trend inMarvel’s Avengers, but there is certainly a wide enough playerbase who would be ecstatic to see other such skins be added in the future.
Marvel’s Avengersis available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
