Konami released the new version 1.3.1 update forMetal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1on November 27 to apply further bug fixes for lingering issues from prior updates. Specifically, the update targets issues that were found inMetal Gear,Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake,Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, andMetal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, including a bug that prevents trophies from unlocking on PlayStation 4. Konami notes that certain trophies cannot be unlocked immediately after loading save data, so players will need to fulfill requirements again for any trophies that were not unlocked inMetal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1update 1.3.0or beforehand. Fortunately, the PlayStation 5 version appears to be unaffected by the trophy bug.
