Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s new map, Aisle 9, has an interesting secret hidden on it. It seems that developer Infinity Ward is no stranger to humor, as theeaster egg hidden on this mappokes fun at one of the biggest problems facing people in the world right now.
As a result of the Coronavirus outbreak, many stormed aisles all throughout the world in order to stock up on toilet paper. Because of this, there was an international shortage of the important product, and that seems to be the target of the joke here inCall of Duty: Modern Warfare.

Unlocking the easter egg is relatively simple, and as such the actual result won’t be spoiled entirely here. That said, it is rather hilarious and worth checking out at least once during players' games on the newAisle 9 map. For those players wanting to discover it for themselves, don’t read past the next paragraph.
Players will need to search the new Aisle 9 map for a large red shipping container. In the nearby area there is a wall with the words “LOADING ZONE” painted onto it in large letters. Players can be certain that they’ve found the correct crate because there will be ateddy bearsitting atop the shipping container. to activate the easter egg, players will need to shoot the teddy off, whether by throwing knife or by gun. Upon doing so, the crate will burst open and the easter egg will start.
When the crate doors burst open, there is an explosion of confetti and loud party horns. Some upbeat music starts playing and colored lights begin strobing inside the crate. On the floor of the crate is a shining roll of toilet paper with a sign that says “The Last Roll.” This is clearly a reference to the aforementionedCoronavirus relatedtoilet paper shortages, and since Aisle 9 is a warehouse themed map it makes a ton of sense for this easter egg to appear here of all places.
Unfortunately, the easter egg doesn’t seem to provide players with any sort of benefit or cosmetic bonuses, instead being purely there for fun. Some players remarked that it should have rewarded the player with a toilet paper gun charm or something similar, while others joked about this being the reason for theinfamously large file sizeofModern Warfare’s updates. Either way, this is a fun distraction.
