Counterplay Games confirms that moreGodfallnews will be coming very soon. Gearbox Publishing and Counterplay GamesannouncedGodfallfor PS5at The Game Awards 2019, making it the first officially confirmed PS5 game.
At a panel at PAX East, Counterplay Games confirmed that it would have more to share aboutGodfall"really, really soon." The developer didn’t confirm when this announcement would be made leaving fans wondering what Counterplay’s definition of “soon” is. Hopefully Counterplay won’t keep fans waiting for much longer.

Fans are incredibly excited to see more from the game as the announcement trailer didn’t reveal much. There have also beenGodfallgameplay leaksbut as Counterplay has confirmed that this gameplay wasn’t the PS5 version, fans are having to wait for a real look at the PS5 launch title.
Counterplay has also confirmed some features about the game such asGodfall’s co-op gameplay and it hasteased its loot system. However, there are huge questions about this such as how fun the game is when played solo, what sort of loot players will be able to pick up, and how hard it will be to find.
Many would like to know howGodfallis different from other loot games likeBorderlands 3, which is developed by Gearbox Software, the development team ofGodfallpublisher Gearbox Publishing. It’s difficult for everyone to get behind the game when there isn’t much information about the new entertainment it offers.
If some sort ofGodfallreveal is happening soon, then it could potentially be part of Sony’s larger PS5 announcement plans. Fans have been wondering for weekswhen Sony is going to hold its PS5 reveal event. The company won’t be going to E3 2020 which makes it more likely that it will hold some other event, but no official announcement has been made.
Fans want Sony to confirm things such as the PS5’s price, its release date, and whatfeatures it will offer to take on the Xbox Series X.Godfallwill be an important part of that and could be one of the biggest launch titles. It could mean that the PS5 reveal event is happening soon but as Counterplay didn’t say how soon that soon is, that could be anything from a week to months away.
