Players who are interested in getting the additional story and playable characters inMortal Kombat 11’s upcoming DLC will have to make a separate purchase that will cost them $39.99 just for the expansion alone. Moreover, NetherRealms Studios is also offering a sweet deal for players who already own the base game with a bundle calledMortal Kombat 11: Aftermath+ Kombat Pack,which, as the name suggests, combinesAftermathwith the previously released Kombat Pack DLC for $49.99.

However, new players who do not ownMortal Kombat 11can purchase theMortal Kombat 11: Aftermath Kollection, which includesAftermath, and immediate access toMortal Kombat 11and the Kombat Pack DLC for $59.99. Given that the Kombat Pack DLC is usually priced at $39.99 by itself, players who want the fullMortal Kombat 11experience are better off purchasing either of these new bundles. To the uninitiated, theKombat Pack DLC includes six playable characterssuch as Shang Tsung, Terminator T-800, Sindel, Joker, and Spawn together with numerous premium skin packs.
Apart from the paid content thatMortal Kombat 11: Aftermathwill offer players, NetherRealm Studios will also include the return of some popular features toMortal Kombat 11to all players with or withoutAftermath. These features includethe return of the Klassic Dead Pool and Soul Chamber arenaaccompanied by Stage Fatalities, which are fan-favorite finishing moves that allow players to use the environment to brutally end the lives of their opponents.
Moreover, the release ofMortal Kombat 11: Aftermathwill also see the return of the popularFriendship Fatality feature. This specific fatality move will allow players to end a battle by doing something nice for their opponent before killing them. At the moment, it is unclear just how many Friendship moves NetherRealm Studios will introduce inMortal Kombat 11,but it wouldn’t be unlikely for all current fighters to have their own unique Friendship maneuver.
