Summary

There arefive different archetypesthat players will find throughoutMy Hero Ultra Rumble, all of which are equally important in a match of the anime battle royale. The Assault class is one of the best archetypes, especially for newer players looking to get more accompanied by the game’s features and play styles.

Associated with the color yellow, the Assault class essentially plays the role of the ‘tank’ inMy Hero Ultra Rumble. These characters can take a hit and dish out powerful moves to eradicate opposing teams. As some of the best characters in the game belong to this class, the Assault archetype is one that fans shouldn’t gloss over. Powerhouses like Mt. Lady and All Might are some of themost ferocious fighters inMy Hero Ultra Rumble.

Itsuka Kendo

5Itsuka Kendo

Itsuka Kendo is a Class 1-B student at U.A. High School, and has the power to bend her body and manipulate the size of her hands. With this quirk, Itsuka Kendo is a close-range fighter inMy Hero Ultra Rumble. Though the Assault character falls weak to longer ranges and mobility, she is no doubt one of the best close-range combatants in the entire game.

Kendo can chuck rocks with a fair spread, almost mimicking a shotgun. She can also pull up a large shield forher and her teammatesto defend against any sort of moves, even melee attacks. Lastly, Kendo’s third Quirk Skill allows her to enlarge her hands and clap the area in front of her. When directly hitting an enemy, Kendo deals a massive amount of damage, which can instantly break GPs and down enemies.

Kirishima in My Hero Ultra Rumble

4Eijiro Kirishima

Eijiro Kirishima is one of the most popular heroes inMy Hero Ultra Rumblefor a variety of reasons. The most popular reason is that Kirishima is such a powerhouse on the field. The hero, also known as Red Riot, can combo an enemy endlessly with his Hardening Quirk.

Like Kendo, Kirishima is a close-range fighter with some defensive feats. Kirishima can Harden, which essentially gives the character indestructible armor and the ability to power through opposing attacks. All three of Kirishima’s Quirk Skills are important melee tools that players will use against enemies to down them as fast as possible, which should be easy considering the potential of Kirishima’s damage output.

Mt. Lady

3Mt. Lady

Mt. Lady is another very popular character inMy Hero Ultra Rumble, thanks to the fact that she can turn into a giant whenever she’d like. Mt. Lady plays a lot like Izuku Midoriya in a way, but trades his mobility for armor and damage. Mt. Lady’s Quirk Skills allow her to damage enemies with ease, as they are all melee-based aside from her Quirk Skill Alpha.

But Mt. Lady’s specialty comes in when she uses her Special Action to grow to a size that would rival the Titans fromAttack on Titan. When she is at this height, Mt. Lady can dish out even more damage and hit opponents in an AoE, making her a troublesome obstacle in close quarters.

2Izuku Midoriya

Izuku Midoriya,My Hero Academia’smain protagonist and the first herothat beginners will learnat the start ofMy Hero Ultra Rumble, is one of the best fighters in the battle royale game thanks to his ranged Quirk Skill, mobility, and incredible combos. Midoriya, also known as Deku, has a ranged Quirk Skill that issimilar to Bakugo’sin the sense that they both hit from afar and deal a lot of damage. Like Bakugo’s Quirk Skill Alpha, Midoriya’s ranged attacks can be ‘spammed’ to stack damage easily.

Midoriya also has a powerful kick attack that deals a massive amount of damage with a single blow, which makes it a great move to use when ending a combo. Blackwhip, one of Midoriya’s several Quirks, also finds usage in Midoriya’s Quirk Skill list. He uses Blackwhip to either swing himself to areas or to grapple opponents and bring them closer. All three of these Quirk Skills give Midoriya the potential to wreak havoc in strategized combos, or to lead the team’s offensive, though he may be an Assault character.

All Might in front of the my hero ultra rumble cover

1All Might

It would have been a shame to seethe Number One Heroat the bottom ofMy Hero Ultra Rumble’stier lists, but the One For All user shines brightly on the battlefield with his magnificent powers and movement. All Might, the strongest hero in the franchise, makes way to being regarded as the strongest hero inMy Hero Ultra Rumble. However, that falls a little short since All Might is an Assault character and nota Strike character. All Might’s three moves are all based on his famous ‘Smashes’ that he would use to defeat his foes in the manga and anime.

All Might’s first Quirk Skill propels the wind in front of him to hit enemies, much like Deku’s ranged attack. His second Quirk Skill is a large Smash that rushes towards the enemies and blows them away, dealing incredible damage. His third Quirk SKill, which is technical in a sense, allows All Might to spin himself into a tornado, which propels away incoming projectiles and damages those around him. With such grand abilities, one would think that All Might would fall short on the mobility spectrum, but that just isn’t true. All Might’s first Special Action allows him to jump way high into the air to move around the map or escape tricky situations.
