Over the years, fans have been treated to some of the most exhilaratingNarutobattles. However, there are quite a few fights that, although were heavily anticipated by the fans, were never illustrated in the story, for one reason or another.

10Rock Lee Vs Neji

Rock Lee’s fight against Neji was heavily teased by Masashi Kishimoto during the Chunin Exams arc of the series. Although the two were on the same team under Might Guy, Lee was, at the time, envious of Neji’s genius.

Training several times harder than him, Lee aimed to surpass him and defeat him in battle. Unfortunately, Rock Lee never got his chance to fight against Neji. Instead, he got to battle Gaara.

9Guy Vs Kakashi

Known to be eternal rivals, Guy and Kakashi are two of the most powerful Jonin in Konohagakure. Having grown up together, the two share quite a great relationship with each other, which also developed into a healthy rivalry. Kakashi and Guy often challenge each other at various things and fights are also included among them.

Sadly, fans never got to see them go all out against each other. Without a doubt, watching the Green Beast of Konoha take on the Copy Ninja would’ve been quite a sight to see.

8Sannin Vs Hanzo

The Second Great Ninja War witnessed quite a number of powerful shinobi from all over the world gather to fight each other and probably the biggest clash of the war was the fight between Team Hiruzen and Hanzo of Amegakure. Despite being in their youth and quite powerful, the three couldn’t defeat Hanzo together.

Fans only got to see the result of the fight in which Hanzo christened them as “The Legendary Sannin of Konoha.” The rest of the fight would’ve been quite spectacular but sadly, was never shown to the fans.

7Tobirama Vs Kinkaku And Ginkaku

Tobirama Senju fought in quite a lot of battles in his lifetime, especially againstthe likes of the Uchiha, however, his most difficult fight came in the First Great Ninja War when he took on Kinkaku and Ginkaku all alone. According to the brothers, they were able to take him on in battle and successfully defeat him, leaving him at death’s door.

Knowing how great a fighter Tobirama was, it must’ve been an intense battle if he somehow managed to lose it. Unfortunately, the fight was never shown to the fans.

6Ay Vs Minato

Minato Namikaze was widely renowned asthe fastest shinobi of all timewhen he was alive. His rival, Kumogakure’s Fourth Raikage, Ay, was quite fast as well, and the two clashed on several occasions during the Third Great Ninja War.

Soon after, the two became Kage of their respective villages but didn’t get a chance to fight each other. Although Ay didn’t particularly like Minato, he held his talent in great regard, even going as far as to say that he believed there was no other shinobi like him.

5Might Duy Vs The Seven Swordsmen Of The Mist

Also known as the Eternal Genin, Might Duy was a Genin of Konohagakure and the father of Might Guy. Just like his son, he had limited talent in the fields of Ninjutsu and Genjutsu, however, he practiced the Forbidden Jutsu called the Eight Inner Gates technique.

During the Third Great Ninja War, Duy encounter all the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist and, by opening all the gates, was able to kill five of them in battle. Once again, fans never got to see this spectacular fight unfold.

4Jiraiya Vs Orochimaru

Jiraiya and Orochimaru were both members of Team Hiruzen Sarutobi and were quite similar to Naruto and Sasuke under Kakashi. While Orochimaru was a genius, Jiraiya’s talent wasn’t comparable to him, which sparked a rivalry between the two.

It is believed that the two fought each other on several occasions, especially when Orochimaru tried to defect from the village. Sadly, fans didn’t get to see even one of their fights where the two were at their best.

3Hashirama Senju Vs Kakuzu

The First Hokage of Konoha,Hashirama Senju fought quite a lot of shinobiin his lifetime, having lived in the era of the Warring States. After the formation of the ninja villages, clashes still took place and on one such occasion, he fought Kakuzu, who was sent by Takigakure to assassinate the First Hokage.

Expectedly, Kakuzu lost the battle quite terribly but managed to survive. Fans didn’t get to see how the battle unfurled, but it would’ve been quite a match to see.

2Madara Uchiha Vs Mu and Onoki

Just like Hashirama Senju,Madara Uchiha fought countless peoplein his lifetime, having lived through the Warring States Era. The likes of Mu and Onoki took him on in battle after the formation of the ninja villages and were soundly defeated.

Given that both of them had the power of the Dust Release Kekkei Genkai and were actually quite strong, it would’ve been interesting to see how Madara beat them. Sadly, fans never got to see even a glimpse of the fight.

1Sasuke Uchiha Vs Neji

Sasuke Uchiha and Neji were both geniuses and locked eyes for the first time during the Chunin Exams arc of the story. According to Rock Lee, Neji was much superior to Sasuke in terms of both experience and strength, which piqued Sasuke’s interest in him.

While Sasuke did get to fight strong people, Neji was never one of them. Instead, Sasuke ended up fighting Gaara while Naruto Uzumaki defeated Neji in the finals of the Chunin Exams. Had the two fought, fans would’ve been able to witness the power of the Byakugan put againstthe power of the Sharingan.
