There are numerous iconic cars throughout theNeed for Speedfranchise and these cars aren’t any of those. Gamers will undoubtedly be moving on from whatever they pick when they expand their garage. So the most important faction isn’t regarding longevity, it’s about which one presents the best starting point.

Best Choice: Nissan 180SX Type X ‘96

The Nissan is going to be the best choice here due to its ability to compete in a variety of races. Whether it’s a street or off-road race, this can be used in any style of race and have the potential to win. No, it’s not as elite as some ofthe best off-road cars, but it’ll do the job for now.

The game seems to allude to this car being the best choice. When purchased from the shop, the BMW is the most expensive, but the Nissan is ranked higher (Nissan: 125, BMW: 123, Ford: 101). Although lower-ranked cars can sometimes perform better, in this case, the highest ranked one is the most balanced and savvy choice.

What About The Others?

The other two do have their uses, but they are more limited. The Ford is the best of these at drifting, but that represents only a fraction of what the game has to offer. It’s not even close tothe best drift cars in the game. FInally, for much of the journey, cars that default to drifting when turning are hugely problematic.

The BMW has the fastest top speed. In longer drag races with zero turns, the BMW will eventually pass the Nissan. But the Nissan’s turning ability and acceleration make it better in generic racing. The BMW has some issues when it comes to maintaining speed on turns that make it inferior to the Nissan.
