First up areDestiny 2’s Titans, who will be receiving a helmet called Loreley Splendor and a chest piece called Hoarfrost-Z. The Lorely Splendor, appearing as a faceplate with fiery wings erupting off the sides, comes with the Cauterizing Flames perk that players heal when inside a Sunspot and creates one when critically wounded. As for the Hoarfrost-Z, this piece comes with the Glacial Fortification perk, which will change a Stasis Titan’s Barricade into a wall of Stasis crystals that slows nearby targets and boosts reload speed, stability, and range for the player and their fireteam.
ForDestiny 2’s Warlocks, Bungie has announced the new Secant Filaments boots and Osmiomancy gauntlets. In the case of the Secant Filaments boots, Warlocks will receive the Devouring Rift perk, which will give the player the devour buff when they cast Empowering Rift. The Osmiomancy Gauntlets come with the Fervid Coldsnap perk, that improves Coldsnap grenades by granting an additional charge that recharges faster on a direct hit and increases the range of the seeker spawned by the ability.
Finally,Destiny 2’s Hunterswill be receiving the Blight Ranger helmet and the Renewal Grasps gauntlets. The Blight Ranger helmet comes with the Voltaic Mirror perk, that allows players to redirect the Arc Staff super in order to deal increased damage and produce extra Orbs of Power. As for the Renewal Grasps, these gauntlets give the Depths of Duskfield perk, which greatly increases the radius of Duskfield grenades and lowers damaged from locked-on targets as well as anyone firing on allies inside the radius.
All of these new perks seem impressive in their own way, giving players new ways to enhance certain combat strategies amongDestiny 2’s high-level activities. Interestingly, a decent amount of these new perks also have fireteams in mind when it comes to improving the abilities players already have. So, team synergy may be ready to hit a new peak inThe Witch Queenthanks to some of Bungie’s changes.
Destiny 2is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
