Nintendo and LEGO are officially teaming up once again to release a Bowser-themed expansion to the brands’ ever-popularSuper Mariosets on June 02, 2025. Now, theLEGO websitehas listed a new LEGOSuper Marioset for purchase called the Bowser’s Muscle Car Expansion Set, which is slated for release on Jun 22, 2025. The expansion set will cost $29.99 and has 458 pieces. It will consist of aBowser made out of LEGO bricksthat fans can build, along with his iconic purple muscle car that will have a lever to move the vehicle’s hood as well as activate other features. The Bowser figure will also have an action tag, which can be used for interactive play when combined with other figures such as Mario, Princess Peach, and Luigi, as well as theSuper MarioStarter Course set.
Additionally, players can replace Bowser in the driver’s seat with either the Mario, Princess Peach, or Luigi figures, which will affect various muscle car sounds, such as the horn, tire, and engine. While the Bowser’s Muscle Car Expansion Set can be a standalone purchase, it is ideally meant to be combined with one of the available LEGOSuper Mariostarter courses to get the most out of the product.
