The catch is thatDestiny 2season 11’s name seems dependent upon language and location. The Spanish version ofDestiny 2reveals the name to be Season of the Visitors, while the French version translates to Season of the Arrival. In short, the names appear to be different in different regions when translated but the date is the same in each image: more information onDestiny 2season 11will be confirmed on June 9.
As such, fans shouldn’t have to wait much longer to find out the English version of the name, and how it relates to the Season of the Visitors and Season of the Arrival. Translations aside, there is a common denominator in the names: something is coming, arriving, and visiting the players in season 11. That couldn’t be anything other than the imminent arrival of theDarkness, an entity important toDestiny 2’s Lorebut hasn’t really been prominent in some time. Of course, Shadowkeep changed all of that.
ManyDestiny 2charactersmay be looking to celebrate thedestruction of the Almighty, but it’s clear that a new threat is coming. Fans will know more about it come June 9.
Destiny 2is out now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
