X-Menis on everyone’s mind and Marvel Studios continues to drop little hints for fans, who are patiently waiting for the debut of the famous group of mutants. Recently, fans have been calling for certain actors to play these characters and Keke Palmer has received a well-deserved call to action to play Rogue.

X-Menwas previously owned by the Fox Studios production company, and now that Disney has acquired it, Marvel Studios will finally be able to have a movie in which both the Avengers and X-Men exist in the same live-action story. It was recently revealed that there will bea much longer wait for X-Menthan what fans had anticipated, so fans have nothing but time to speculate.

The most recent casting that fans wanted to see is none other than the incredibly talented Palmer. Palmer has many notable works and talents, which have been rediscovered by viewers this past year duringJordan Peele’s acclaimed filmNope. The star responded to a social media post on TikTok and commented, “Come on agentttttt,” on a video that called for her to play none other than Rogue.

Another Twitter user by the name of@Irose_artshared their fan artwork of Palmer in the role. The design incorporates Palmer’s likeness while also having the costume reflect the comic book-inspired realism that Marvel Studios is known for. Marvel Studios is known for blending the line of campy and realistic practicality when it comes to bringingcomic book costumes to the big screen. @Irose_art’s work looks excellent and Marvel Studios may want to consider bringing this talent on board as well.

With the long-awaited X-Men characters being treated with care byMarvel Studios President Kevin Feige, it would be incredible to see Palmer get the respect her talent deserves on a much bigger platform. Even if it’s not Rogue, Marvel Studios can really use Palmer in any number of upcoming potential projects. Despite the plethora of MCU projects, they’re really just getting started with their journey, as there are more characters not yet used than the ones that have been used or cast. The sky is the limit for any of the potential characters who will be coming to the MCU in the next few years.

X-Menis currently in development at Marvel Studios with no expected release date as of now.
