Oculus account owners who don’t migrate their accounts to Meta by March 29 will have their apps, in-app purchases, app store credits, achievements, friends list, and any content created with their account deleted. Following a deletion, users will be unable to reactivate or retrieve anything mentioned in that list, so Oculus owners will certainly want to take action if they haven’t already. Users should have recently received an email from Meta that details this requirement and includes a link for migrating their account. The process seems to be pretty simple, which calls for users to create a Meta account using the same email they used to create an Oculus account. After doing so, all of the previously mentioned data will be safe.
