While the fight between the two ninjas, Raizo and Fukurokuju, has lasted surprisingly long, it certainly won’t be given the same level of attention as the other two as the fans finally head into the last chapters of the Wano Country arc. At the same time, chapter 1036 touched on other important plotlines, such as King’s flashback with Kaido where he seemed to imply that he had some information on Joy Boy, and believed his captain to be the one to bring the world to its Dawn. What’s more, the chapter also gave the fans a glimpse of what’s to come as Luffy and Kaido were engaged in battle on the rooftop, looking quite even.

What To Expect From One Piece Chapter 1037
One Piece1037 is likely going to be massive for the story as fans could finally see the story enter its final phase. According to the CP0 in the last chapter, the next few minutes in Wano would decide the course that the entire world will take. With the dissolution of the Shichibukai system and the incidents with Alabasta and the Revolutionary Army, the world is already in chaos. If two Yonko were to fall at the same time, the flames would be fanned even further. Given that they mentioned it would take just a “few minutes” to decide what path the world would take, it is quite easy to see thatOne Piece1037 will focus on the pending fight between Luffy and Kaido.
With fans getting glimpses of Kaido’s past through King, it is entirely possible that fans now get a proper flashback of him. Kaido was, after all, an apprentice in the ship of Rocks D. Xebec and has, since the God Valley Incident, been through a lot. Kaido also has information on Joy Boy and he certainly is residing in Wano Country for a reason. Like the rest of his crew, Luffy is bound to get a power-up in his final fight on Wano. Althoughhe’s already acquired Conqueror’s Haki Infusion, to beat Kaido, he needs to take the next step. While the chances for it are quite low,One PieceChapter 1037 could see Luffy use a new form of Gear Fourth or Gear Fifth.
One Piece 1037: The Beginning Of The End of Wano?
Besides the major fights going on in Onigashima, a lot is going on for the fans to not be excited about. In case Kaido does fall, Onigashima would likely crash into the Flower Capital, killing thousands of people. To prevent that Momonosuke needs to be the hero the country needs and step outside his father’s shadow to prove that he’s worthy of being the next Shogun of the country.
To do that, he needs to get ahold of his dragon powers better and use them to the fullest. At the same time, Kanjuro’s fire demon creates another massive problem for the alliance as it could lead to Onigashima exploding even before reaching the Flower Capital, killing everyone in the process. To prevent that, Yamato is taking the necessary steps and will likely see some focus thrown on him in chapter 1037 of the story.
Clearly, the Wano Country arc is in its final phase now. It is possible the next couple of chapters will wrap up both Luffy vs Kaido andTrafalgar Law and Eustass Kid vs Big Mom. The Fire Festival has been going on for quite a while now so the next few minutes in the story should be the most crucial. More importantly, the World Government forces are already nearing Wano and in case the Yonko fall, they would love to take the opportunity to seize the country.

Oda setting up bigger problems in case Kaido falls, such as Onigashima crashing on the Fire Capital or exploding mid-air, or the arrival of the World Government forces, indicates that the possibility of the Yonko falling isn’t so low after all.
