In fact, Oda has already hinted at the next big arc ofOne Pieceand that is Elbaf. As fans know already,Elbaf is the land of Giantsand a very important place where quite a lot of big mysteries of the world will be answered. A lot of characters will be present in this arc, however, only a few will get to shine truly.
10Vegapunk
Dr. Vegapunk was finally revealed to the fans and the Egghead Island arc. Currently, he is with the Straw Hat Pirates, trying to escape from Egghead. Vegapunk surely cannot die, given that the Straw Hats cannot fail their mission here.
He will most certainly leave with the crew and their next destination has already been set as Elbaf. This means fans will most definitely see him there and he is surely going to play a major role in the arc, given how big a genius he is.
9Loki
Loki is the prince of the Giants of Elbafand he was first mentioned in the Whole Cake Island arc. Fans have not seen much of him in the story at all and even his character remains to be a big mystery.
However, he is surely going to be a very important character, given that Oda name-dropped him. When the Straw Hat Pirates get to Elbaf, the crew will most certainly meet with Loki and he is sure to be important in the arc.
8Yasopp
The sniper of the Red Hair Pirate, Yasopp is a somewhat important character inOne Piece.He is the father of Usopp and fans know that the latter has waited years to finally meet him. In Elbaf, the Straw Hat Pirates will have an opportunity to meet the Red Hair Pirates, given that they were recently seen around that area.
This arc will open the door for multiple reunions and Yassop and Usopp’s reunion is certainly among them as well.
7Nami
Although this might come as a surprise to some, Nami is a character that could end up being very important in Elbaf. For one, her character draws quite a lot of inspiration from Norse mythology and fans already know that Elbaf is a place heavily based around its core aspects.
At the same time, the Straw Hat Pirates could end up finding the last Road Poneglyph in this arc and, if that were to happen, Nami will have a big responsibility of tracking down the Final Island and taking the crew there as well.
6Nico Robin
Nico Robin is the archaeologistof the Straw Hat Piratesand the upcoming Elbaf arc might just be the most important arc for her, after Water Seven. In this arc, Robin will find out the location of the last Road Poneglyph.

If that wasn’t enough, she is also going to meet Saul, her benefactor who once helped her escape from Ohara. This arc will be extremely special for Robin for many reasons and she is sure to be central to it.
5Saul
Just like Robin, Saul is a character that fans will see quite a lot of in this arc. It was recently revealed to the fans that Saul is alive and well and fans absolutely cannot wait to see him return to the main story.
Saul holds key information about the Void Century. At the same time, he also holds access to all the books of Ohara. Saul is probably waiting for Robin to make her way to Elbaf and these two characters will share a beautiful reunion in this arc.
4Usopp
Usopp is the sniper of the Straw Hat Pirates and certainly a character that fans absolutely adore. The upcoming Elbaf arc is going to be extremely special for Usopp.
Not only is he going to potentially meet his father, but he has also been obsessed with this place ever since Little Garden. He wants to be like the Giants of Elbaf and, at the same time, earn their respect.
3Dragon
Dragon is the leader of the Revolutionary Army and one of the most dangerous people in the entire world. Dragon has recently made his move and a war is about to break out between him and the elites of the World Government.
Just like Egghead, the Elbaf Arc is going to focus on multiple things at once, which means Dragon will certainly be central to it. It is also possible that Dragon and Vegapunk will reunite in this arc.
2Shanks
One of the Four Emperors of the Sea, Shanks is a character who is going to be extremely crucial in the Elbaf arc. Fans found out recently that Shanks is the one protecting Elbaf currently.
Although he set out to sea, there is plenty of time for Shanks to get back to this land by the time the Straw Hat Pirates arrive. In this arc, Shanks will end up reuniting with Luffy and the two are going to engage in an incredible fight that fans have waited years to see.
1Luffy
Undoubtedly,Luffy, the protagonist of the story, is going to be crucial to the Elbaf arc. Fans know that in this arc, Luffy is going to explore Elbaf, and, at the same time, meet Shanks as well.
Their reunion is one that fans have waited decades for and it could finally happen in this arc. Furthermore, Luffy will likely take his final step towards becoming the Pirate King in this arc, which makes it doubly special for him.
