There are many new maps coming toOverwatch 2, including one based on Esperanca, Portugal. A trailer forOverwatch 2’s Esperancawas posted on Twitter, showing off a lot of the areas that players will be able to go to within the new map.
Esperanca will be one of the maps inOverwatch 2’s all-new Push mode, which has competing teams meet at the center of the map they play on and fight to take control of a robot. This robot then moves a barricade towards the spawn of whichever team did not take hold of it. Until the barricade is pushed to the end of the path, teams can continue to fight over the robot. However, if neither team has won after eight minutes, whichever team has pushed the robot further and is in control of it is the winner.

In the trailer for Esperanca inOverwatch 2, fans get to see the layout of the map. It begins by showing the end of the road that the robot pushes the barricade on. This area is surrounded by tall, colorful buildings. The trailer then transitions to show off the inside of some of the buildings, revealing that players can fight inside a museum and multiple restaurants. There is also a library and a fountain that players can go to.
Alongside the trailer,Overwatchalso posted four screenshots of the map. The first one shows a bus parked next to a blue building, while the second shows off many structures in Esperanca. The third image is of a huge building with a couple of cars parked outside of it, and the fourth shows the end of the road, where the robot can push a barricade to.
A lot of fans expressed their enthusiasm ofthe new Push mapon social media nd how much they look forward to playing on it, as well as their thoughts on how Esperanca looks inOverwatch 2.
WithOverwatch 2coming out in just a couple of weeks, playing matches on the Esperanca map is just one of the many things that fans have to look forward to. Other maps based on real locations that have been confirmed to come toOverwatch 2include Canada’s New Queen Street, Italy’s Colosseo, and New York’s Midtown. Along with all-new and reworked heroes to play as, and otherfeatures that weren’t in the originalOverwatch, gamers will have a lot to do onceOverwatch 2releases.
