Blizzard has released a new balancing patch forOverwatchon July 30, 2025. DPS, support, and tank heroes are all affected by this patch, so all players should pay attention to these changes so they’re not caught by surprise while playing.
All of these changes are currently live for all versions ofOverwatch,with Brigitte, Orisa, and Roadhog being some of the heroes that are most affected by these changes. A total of seven different heroes have been changed with this patch, making for a lot of possible changes in the game’s meta to occur as well.

The characters that have been tweaked are Brigitte, Orisa, Pharah, Roadhog, and Zenyatta. Many of these changes are related to health pools and ability cooldowns.
Brigitte
According to the patch notes,Brigitte playerswere able to safely play at longer distances and didn’t require as much health as she had before the patch. Additionally, Brigitte’s ultimate has been tweaked overall to give her more health while giving her teammates less health. The exact numbers of these changes are:
Orisa
According to the patch notes,Orisa’s Halt abilitymade it too difficult for enemy teams to get out of combos after an Orisa player uses Halt. Her health has also been changed. The exact changes are:
Pharah
Pharah’s changeshave been made to apparently make her more agile in the air, as well as change up the duration of her ultimate so she’s not a sitting duck for as long. The exact numbers for these changes are:
Roadhog
Roadhog has gone through some changes with his Scrap Gun to make him more of the heavyweight character he previously was. The exact numbers of these changes are:
Sigma
Sigma has gone through some changesto reduce his defensive capabilities. The exact numbers of these changes are:
Symmetra
Symmetra has gone through a minor changeto her teleporter. The only change is that the cooldown to build a teleporter has been reduced from 12 to 10 seconds.
Zenyatta
Zenyattahas been changed to increase his total damage output via some small changes to his secondary fire. These changes are:
