Starting with minimal protection, players must find better armor quickly to survive such threats.
InPax Dei, one of the most critical things to do is craft an armor set. You have to collect materials and use craft-specific workbenches to make different armor. This guide is for crafting all the other armor types, from cloth to iron, ensuring you are well-equipped for any challenge.
Getting Started with Crafting
To do this, you have to have a Basic Carpenters Workbench built so that you can craft armor. Workbench can be used to construct one of three very important tools: Basic Tailoring Tools, Basic Leatherworking Tools, and Basic Blacksmithing Tools. These are the tools used to make every armor type inPax Dei.
Basic Tailoring Tools are necessary for crafting the Simple Tailoring Table. This table allows you to produce cloth armor, providing low-level protection with 2–4 points versus Slash and Blunt damage.
To craft the Simple Tailoring Table, you need the following:
By hunting animals, you can gather Bone Fragments. As you move uphill, ensure to collect Flax Fiber. Finally, use a Spinning Wheel to convert these materials into Coarse Linen String.
Crafting Leather Armor
The Simple Leatherworking Table is crafted with essential leatherworking tools, which are 100% required for making leather armor. Cloth - armor and leather gives 4–10 points of damage protection.
Another vital material, flint, is found mainly in water areas.
Advancing to Iron Armor
Basic Blacksmithing Tools are used to craft the Basic Blacksmith Workbench. This workbench will give you access to craft much more advanced tools and crafting tables, like the Basic Armor Smithing Tools. They are tools for making iron armor that will last a long time.
To craft the Basic Blacksmith Workbench, you need:
Iron materials such as Iron Sheets,Iron Bars, and Iron Nails are crafted using a Stone Anvil and a Basic Furnace. Once you have the Basic Armor Smithing Tools, you can create the Basic Armorer Workbench, which produces even better armor.
Founder’s Armor
If you have the Artisan Founder’s Pack, you unlock the Founder Crafting Table, allowing you to craft an exclusive Founder’s Armor. This armor offers decent protection and unique aesthetic value, though it doesn’t surpass the protection of iron armor.
