The Sun Social Link inPersona 3 Reloadis represented by Akinari Kamiki. He is one of the easiest Social Link inPersona 3 Reloadto Rank Up, but you’ll have several tasks to complete before you can unlock Rank 1. Akinari’s Social Link is also easy to miss if you’re not checking the areas around Tatsumi Port Island. However, given the simplicity of maxing out the Sun Social Link, it’s one you’ll want to complete on your first playthrough for the gameplay perks.

How to Unlock the Sun Social Link
You can spend time with Akinari Kamiki at the Naganaki Shrine onSundaysonly. Therefore, it’s recommended youfinish Maya’s Social Link as soon as possibleso that you can save your Sundays for Akinari.
You’ll need to do the following to unlock the Sun Social Link inPersona 3 Reload:
On5/6, you’ll overhear students at Gekkoukan talking about an elementary school student at theNaganaki Shrine. This is your cue to visit the shrine to meetMaikoand start theHanged Man Social Link. You’ll need to spend some time with her (i.e, start Rank 3) before meetingAkinari Kamiki.
You’ll then need tomake sure you haveLevel 4 Academics. This is arguably the hardest Social Stat to rank up, as it takes longer than Courage and Charm. Some methods of improving Academics is by eating atWakatsuornot sleeping during class.
Where to Find the Red Fountain Pen Key Item
You won’t be able to get theRed Fountain Penuntil after Koromaru has joined SEES. Once this happens, you can find Akinari near the Inari Shrine at Naganaki. If you havelevel 4 Academics, he’ll mention a “red-eyed beast” that stole his pen. Go toIwatodai Dormand speak to Koromaru to get the red pen, then return to Naganaki Shrine.

Since Akinari’s Social Linkranks up each time you hang out with him, you won’t need to have a Persona of the Sun Arcana. Because of this,it doesn’t matter which choice you select. you’re able to choose to be supportive or rude to Akinari, and you’ll still reach Rank 10 with little effort.
