Out of all the Pokemon that have been introduced over the years, the eeveelutions have continued to be some of the most popular. Even with a ninth generation ofPokemonon the way,Eevee and its evolutionsare still held up as some of the most liked pocket monsters.
One of those eeveelutions is Vaporeon. The Water-Type was one of the original three evolutions for Eevee and has stayed relevant despite being around for over 25 years. The pocket monster still has fans creating artwork based around it, including amazing lookingPokemonstatues.

An artist going by the handle LockwoodE3 showed off an adorable Vaporeon statue that they had made. According to the artist, thePokemonstatue was made for their boyfriend’s shop after they requested one. An official figure was used for the Vaporeon in the piece, but LockwoodE3 was able to make the rest of the statue themselves. The base shows the Pokemon standing in the waves on a beach, which were made with resin and gel. The piece also features a few clams on the sand by the waves, adding a nice little touch that gives the artwork a little more character.
LockwoodE3’s statue has received a lot of fans. Many are stating that the piece looks amazing, saying that the artist’s boyfriend must love it. One commenter requested a statue of Umbreon, which LockwoodE3 says is next. Another mentioned that they would purchase one of the artist’s works if they did theGalarian form of the Pokemon Ponytaor Flareon. One fan also stated that it was “wicked” of the artist to make the statue for their boyfriend and complimented them for it. The statue is quite adorable and is a nice celebration for one of the first Pokemon that gamers got to journey with.
LockwoodE3 is not the only one making pieces dedicated to Vaporeon. A Redditor known as umbratundra made an amazingdoll of the Pokemon Vaporeonthat, according to the artist, took over 30 hours to complete. In a small clip, umbratundra shows the process that they went through to make the doll. This included making a skeleton system that would allow the piece to be set in different poses and making a resin cast for the head that included separate pieces for the eyes and nose. Different types of fabric were used for the Pokemon’s body, giving it the appearance of real fur, especially around its neck and ears. It is an incredible work of craftsmanship and has an amazing realistic look to it.
