When it comes to requests inPokemon Legends: Arceus, they are usually easy to find. Players just have to open their map, and they will see the little icon indicating where the request can be claimed. That said, there are some instances where requests are not specifically marked as such, which makes them easy to miss. This is the case with Request 5 (What It Takes To Be Awesome).

However, it is worth doing this request as the reward is worth it. In order to find this request, players must locate a young boy named Sho in Jubilife Village and talk to him. He is located across the river, south of the General Store. Many Requests don’t unlock until players havemade more progress in the story, so if players don’t get the request after talking to Sho, they should try completing another mission, and it should unlock after doing that.

What It Takes To Be Awesome

Despite the fact that it is so easy to miss, this request is very easy and will take players little to no time to complete. Sho wants a Pokemon of his own someday, but he needs Poke Balls to practice his throwing. That is where players comes in, as Sho asks them for five Poke Balls.

Considering howPokemon Legends: Arceusencourages players to catch as many Pokemon as possible in order to fill out the numerous entries in the Pokedex, it is likely that players will already have five (or significantly more) Poke Balls in their inventory. If players are short on Poke Balls, crafting them is the way to go.

Luckily, Sho only requires Poke Balls, and thoseare pretty easy to craft. All that players need to craft a Poke Ball is one Apricorn and one Tumblestone.Pokemon Legends: Arceusplayers will be able to find plenty of these materials in the field, especially just outside of Jubilife Village in the Obsidian Fieldlands. Keep in mind that, other Poke Balls that players can acquire as they progress throughPokemon Legends: Arceuswill not work. So don’t make Heavy Balls for this Request, as they are not what Sho wants.

Request 5 Reward

Once players have crafted the five Poke Balls, if they didn’t have them already, they can talk to Sho to complete the Request and receive three Grit Dust as a reward. Grit Dust is very useful because it can help improve the various stats of an individual Pokemon. This can be especially helpful if you feel like your Pokemon are taking too much damage and their Defense or Speical Defense could use a boost. Or if your Pokemon needs more HP, Grit dust can help with that as well.

Pokemon Legends: Arceusis available now for the Nintendo Switch.
