Reddit user The_Internet_Goblin deserves credit for making an impressivePokemon Gold and Silver-style sprite of Farigiraf, a pocket monster unveiled recently. The_Internet_Goblin is one of the few fans who like to imagine howGen 9 Pokemonlike Farigiraf would look as sprites from older games. Unlike most sprite artists who create subtle animations in their art, The_Internet_Goblin has gone for simplistic pixel art featuring Farigiraf. The artist has neatly captured Farigiraf’s two heads, one from the main body and one from its tail.

The_Internet_Goblin’s Farigiraf sprite has a black tail head, which rests on top of the main body head, shown in shades of yellow and orange. The sprite also shows Farigiraf’s noticeable antennae in black and orange colors, whereas the yellow and black spikes on its spine are also visible. Meanwhile, its body is depicted in bright orange with black spots, and it has yellow legs with black hooves. Most Reddit users applauded the original poster for coming up with thisuniquePokemonspriteso quickly, as Farigiraf was revealed very recently.

For those who don’t know,The Pokemon Company recently introduced Farigiraf, who is an evolved version of Girafarig, a pocket monster introduced in the second generation. Like its predecessor, Farigiraf is a normal/psychic-type Pokemon based on a giraffe but has a combined head from the tail and the main body. Both heads are connected through thick nerves that boost its psychic abilities, which are released through the antennae on top. Farigiraf has no visible tail as the head from its tail is combined with the main body head.
