A widespread tradition for new video games is having a unique physical collectible with the preorder to sweeten the pot for buying physical.The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomis no different. Many different stores offer a bunch of unique and exciting items for players topick up when the game launches in May.
This guide is not limited to the United States; most amazing bonuses are only in particular countries. Unfortunately, United States residents can only really get asingle uniqueTears of the Kingdompreorder bonuscurrently, so the majority of this guide is covering other countries' items that American fans would need to import to get their hands on.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the sequel to the beloved open-world adventure, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. This installment once again sees Link and Zelda battling to protect Hyrule from falling to Ganondorf. This new adventure takes place in the same land of Hyrule as Breath of the Wild but sees something called the Upheaval, which allows link to travel to Sky Islands, as well as deep into the Depths beneath Hyrule. Players can use special abilities to fuse together weapons, and build items to help them progress through the release.

GameStop
Many people preorderedTears of the Kingdomthrough Gamestop since it had been accidentally discounted to $60 for a while. Those who preordered the game from this store in America get a fine-looking Wooden Plaque, now known to havethe Ultra Hand symbol on it after the gameplay trailer.
This plaque is a neat reward, but it’s nothing too practical or valuable, more of just a display piece forZeldafans to put up if they like it. Unfortunately for Americans, only two other stores are offering unique rewards; no other stores seem to give out anything special for the players there on launch day.
Best Buy
Tears of the Kingdomfans who decide to place their preorder at Best Buy will see this item automatically added to their cart. An art print that will likely only be alittle bit larger than a Nintendo Switch game case, but it still looks to be a quality print.
While it is a little small, this display piece is more practical than the other two offered forZeldafans in the United States, as it could be easily framed and hung on a wall. It is also still in supply and available for any preorder of the physical editions of the game, even if it was preordered before the art print was announced.
Walmart
A unique wall scroll is given out forZeldafans who preorder the game from Walmart. This is pretty unique in the space of preorder bonuses and some lovely wall art for anyTears of the Kingdomenthusiastto have displayed in their home.
Unfortunately, for anyone eager to get their hands on this one, it’s already completely sold out. There may be some hope of a restock coming eventually, but for now, the wall scroll remains unavailable, and the only options for gamers in the United States are the GameStop plaque or the Best Buy art print.
Target
While there istechnically no preorder bonus for Target, those who arrive on theTears of the Kingdomlaunch day can pick up a free “hip pack”. This is essentially just a small purse meant to wrap around the waist and hang on the hip. It looks pretty stylish with a muted brown and gold aesthetic.
Costco
For gamers shopping at the same place with the $1.50 Hot Dogs and paper that comes by the pound, Costco offers an exclusive bonus for an extra $5, a carrying case with a Tears of the Kingdom design. While this one is not free, $5 is quite the steal for carrying cases that would typically cost an extra $25.
Canadian Bonuses
CanadianTears of the Kingdomfans will receive aPin Set from GameStop or a Luggage Tag from Walmart. The Pin Set is standardized as a GameStop bonus in the US forMetroid DreadandKirby and the Forgotten Land, so it is curious why only Canada gets one.
The luggage tag is more unique—quite a practical and perfect item forZeldafans who love to travel. While one may already have a generic luggage tag, it’s never a bad thing to try and subtly rep a beloved franchise, even on a suitcase.
Amazon Japan Bonuses
Instead of conventional rewards,Japan receives a silly and unique Silverware set. So while Link uses his bare hands,Tears of the Kingdomplayers can use aZelda-branded Spoon and Fork for any meal they’d like. They’re a nice set of utensils that should fit in any kitchen.
Israel Nintendo Store Bonuses
The Nintendo online store in Israel offers three sizes of a shirt or a commemorative coin. Of course, players can only get one or the other, but the free shirt seems like the better value and is also quite the upgradeover the typical green shirt with a Triforce on it.
Tears of the Kingdomplayers shouldn’t sleep on the coin, either; it has quite an intricate design and might be worth quite a bit due to its relatively limited release in Israel and a small selection of other countries. The shirt does seem like the more popular item, though.
Europe Nintendo Store Bonuses
Europe (namely the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, and Italy) will receive two previously discussed items: the Collector’s coin and the luggage tag. Of course, this brings into question why the previous bundle doesn’t include the shirt and the coin, but this bundle is a sweet deal regardless.
World of Games, Switzerland
Swiss fans ofTears of the Kingdomshould consider preordering their copy at the World of Games store since they offer a free notebook as a preorder bonus. The design looks incredibly sleek and wholly unique to this one store, a nice bonus for any fan.
While it looks pretty lovely, this one is only a great bonus for those who enjoy writing and would actually use a notebook. Otherwise, this is just another excellent piece for the Zelda collectibles shelf.Imagine all the lovelyZelda-related doodles that could be kept inside.
