One of the early Side Quests inPrince of Persia: The Lost Crownis calledAncient Power Unearthedand is given to players by Kaheva, the Blacksmith in The Haven. To start the quest, players will first need to obtain the Bow of Menoliasin the Hyrcanian Forestand then head back to The Haven in the Lower City. To the left of the Magi Emporium shop, where you can buy items and upgrade stuff, is a large glowing yellow door. Enter it to findKaheva’s Forge.
Ancient Power Unearthed Side Quest Guide (Ore Location)
Speak to Kaheva and then choose the ‘Ancient Power Unearthed’ option to start the quest. The blacksmith wants Sargon to head to a different area to find a rare ore and return it to her. The location of the ore will be marked on the map –it’s to the west of The Haven in the Lower City.
You’ll need to make sure of the Chakramand other abilities to reach the ore.
Once you eventually make it to the room with the Ore, there will be a treasure chest waiting to be opened. Interact with it and a gauntlet will begin. You’ll need to survive an onslaught of moving spikes without getting hit once to retrieve the chest’s contents. You can check out our video above to learn how to bypass each section of the challenge.
After avoiding the dangerous structures, the Raw Ore will be yours for the taking. Make your way back to Kaheva to forge a powerful artifact.
Reward for Completing An Ancient Power Unearthed
For completing this Side Quest in The Lost Crown,Kaheva will give you the Shield of Mithra Amulet.
With the Shield of Mithra equipped, a successful parry with LT/L2 will create a small time bubble, slowing enemies within it. This amulet can be switched out atone of the Wak-Wak Trees.
