Although, under certain circumstances, the player can wind up without a horse. In fact, one player went on akilling spree to avenge their dead horse. Luckily, should the player be lost in the wilderness without a horse, there’s a decently simple solution.

AReddituser by the name of Shot-Skirt-2598 discovered that the player can request a ride from caravan drivers or random travelers that populate the various roads and trails. This is a rather unexpected feature that not many players would likely think to do. Most would probably just steal a horse or reload a save. Although, this feature really does add to the level of realism thatRed Dead Redemption 2is looking to promote.
