TheResident Evil 3demo has been out for a few days now, and dedicated fans have already searched its every nook and cranny. They’ve hunted down all the collectible dolls, discoveredMega Maneaster eggs, and mastered what it takes to survive. There’s still some time to wait until the full release ofResident Evil 3is available, and so fans have started releasing mods for the demo to keep each other entertained in the meantime.
One particularly interesting mod for theResident Evil 3demo comes from modder FluffyQuack. The mod is both terrifying and hilarious, replacing every single enemy in the game with Nemesis. The Nemesis monster is already scary enough when there’s just one of them, so having to deal with an entire army of Nemesis monsters is quite the intimidating prospect.

FluffyQuack uploaded a video showing theResident Evil 3Nemesis Army mod in action. Needless to say,Jill Valentinedoesn’t really stand much of a chance against a bunch of Nemesis monsters swarming her at one time.
After theResident Evil 3remake itself comes out on April 3, fans can expect a lot more mods to be released for the game.Resident Evil 2had a ton of support from modders, particularly when it came to the game’sMr. X enemy. It seems likely that Nemesis will receive similar attention from the modding community, especially if thisResident Evil 3Nemesis army mod from FluffyQuack is any indication.
While it’s likely that manyResident Evil 3mods will focus on Nemesis, there should be plenty of other mods released for the game. There wereResident Evil 2mods that swapped out the playable characters instead of Mr. X, for example. One of the most famous ones was aShaggy modthat added theScooby-Doo!character as a playable character at the height of the overpowered Shaggy meme’s popularity.
Only PC players will be able to download any of the mods released for theResident Evil 3remake, but there will be plenty of content available for fans regardless of which version of the game they pick up. There’s the main story of course, butResident Evilplayers can also check out theResident Evil: Resistancemultiplayer modeas well, which could give the game a lot more replay value than it would have otherwise.
Resident Evil 3launches on April 3 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
