As players reach Chapter 7 in theResident Evil 4 Remake, they’ll find themselves thrown from the village andforced to navigate an imposing castle. Once inside, Leon meets the sinister Ramon before beginning a trek with Ashley through the dark halls of the massive location. There are tons of useful items to discover in this area and players are likely to come across an array of treasures, including some contained in large barred square boxes. These boxes have a special stand and a strange square-style lock beneath them.

How To Open Square Locked Boxes In The RE4 Remake
To open the Square Locked Boxesscattered around the Castle, Leon will first need togain access to a special Key Item called the Cubic Device. Thankfully, it’s hard to miss this item as it’s in a pretty obvious place. To reach the Cubic Device,players first need to progress far enough into the Castle to reach the Grand Hall(located just past the Courtyard in Chapter 9). Once in the Grand Hall, Leon and Ashley will need to enter a series of roomsand snag special animal heads to complete the ornate statue on the main floor.One of these doors leads to the Armory, where Leon can snag the Lion Head and then do battle against an array of armored enemies. After the enemies are defeated, Leon and Ashley will exit the room and head down a hallway.At the end of this hallway is a treasure chest containing the Cubic Device.

Where To Find Square Locked Boxes In The RE4 Remake
