The spooky newResident Evil Villageis filled to the brim with secrets. There are hidden items, around 50 trophies and achievements, and severalEaster eggs hidden inRE Village. In order to get all those achievements, players will have to read all 47 files while on their hunt for Rose.
The Bookworm Trophy
In order to earn one of the many trophies inResident Evil Village, players will have to find all the files and read them. The 47 files are scattered throughout the game, all the way to the end. There are a total of 47, some hidden, some not so hidden. If players can pick up each one, they will earn the Bookworm Trophy or Achievement. Players will want to keep their eyes open for any pieces of paper, photo, or even news clipping that they can interact with while haunting theVillage.

Files In the Prologue
There are several files right at the beginning of the game. AsResident Evil’s newest main character Ethan Winters, players will be able to scour the house for papers to begin to fill in the facts of the story. These will be located:
Files in the Village
Once the Prologue is over, players will find themselves in the village, where they will spend a good portion of the game. During this first visit to the titular town, Ethan will find a few more files to put toward this achievement, if Ethan survivesResident Evil Villagethrowing him right into a battleto the death.
Castle Dimitrescu’s Files
There is a lot to look for in House Dimitrescu; there are a total of 12 files and many collectables, dangers, and achievements inside this location as well.
Back in the Village Again
After Ethan completes Castle Dimitrescu, he’ll return to the village where there will be even more files to find. In the Village this time, Ethan can get five more papers for his collection.
After Leaving House Beneviento
The is one sneaky note after the player leaves House Beneviento hopefullywith Beneviento’s treasure; keep an eye out when Ethan reaches the garden outside of the house.

During the Moreau Part of RE8
There is a long sequence inResident Evil Villagewhere Ethan must confront Moreau. Without spoiling too much, there will be a sort of chase sequence, and players will have to keep a look out for these files while on the move.
The Village Again and Again
Once players re-enter the village for the last time, they will be able to find two more key files. ensure to grab them before heading into the Stronghold. Players will need to have thecrank to lower thisResident Evil Villagebridge, so make sure to have it handy.
In the Stronghold
There is once again some very well-hiddentreasure inside of thisResident Evil VillageStronghold, but only two files to be found. Thankfully, they are both much easier to find.
Inside the Factory
The factory is a very frightening place, and the information held inside of the factory’s files won’t make things any better. There are enemies, dangers, and theQuit Hanging AroundResident Evil 8trophyinside this factory, and a few files as well.
After a Character Change
Close to the very end of the game, a switch happens. Without revealing too much, Ethan is no longer the narrator of the game and players are looking through someone else’s eyes at this point. Players will enter a room and hear this character say: “This must be Miranda’s Lab,” referring to theResident Evil Villagecharacter Mother Miranda. Inside the lab are all of the remaining files to complete this trophy.
