The cook’s case is called Prudence In All Things. Players will have to look around Prudence’s house and find all the clues related to the problem. Once you have gathered all the necessary information, it is time to decide what to do with Prudence and Thomas.

After obtaining every last bit of information, it is revealed that Prudence is a French spy, who betrayed the colony. She destroyed the food supplies, making the people suffer. Prudence was sabotaging the colony, which was already in a bad state.
Ifyou blame Prudence, Red will take away her essence and kill her. This choice will affect Antea’s resurrection and will helpRed revive herlaterinBanishers: Ghosts of New Eden.Blaming Prudencealso causes Thomas to run amok, so you will have to defeat him.
Should You Ascend Or Banish Thomas In Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden?
Thomas loved Prudence to the point where his ghost began to haunt her. He thought that he would help her get away from New Eden and start a new life elsewhere. If youAscend Thomas, it will allow him to leave peacefully. This will counttowards Antea’s Ascent. Considering Thomas only thought of his wife’s welfare, it makes more sense to Ascend him.
If you opt toBanish Thomas, it will be a more cruel process. Prudence won’t be happy with Red’s choice, and she will be visibly distraught.Banishing Thomas also adds to Antea’s Ascent.
