On Reddit, user Earlgreytea3000 posted several photos of their Dragonborn standing in precarious spots on top of the tallest structures inSkyrim’s major city of Solitude.In the images, the character can be seen hanging out on top of the Bard’s College, the dome in the Blue Palace, and on top of the Temple of Divines. One photo even had a top-down perspective, showcasing the height that the player was able to reach when they went up the building. According to the Redditor, they did not use any mods or cheats to climb up the buildings, which means they manually moved their character and used the in-game physics to reach these places.
For those who want to know how the Redditor was able to get to such heights, they shared that they used a combination of quick saving and Whirlwind Sprint, one of the Dragonborn Shouts inSkyrim. Once they quick saved in the third-person, they would use the Shout, then quickly reload right before the Dragonborn takes off. This apparently gave them super speed, allowing them to reach the higher spots of tall buildings in Solitude. Comments on the Reddit thread were impressed by Earlgreytea3000’s achievement, considering it was done without the use of mods or cheats.
Nevertheless, this is likely not the last time that these players will usecreative tricks inSkyrimto get where they want to go. What is great about the action RPG is its open world system, which allows players to freely explore, discover, and do whatever they want to do in the vast expanse of the video game.
