TheLEGOgames have now been around for the better part of 17 years, which means the franchise has amassed a large number of games. The latestLEGOStar Warsgame is set to release next month, and this seems to have prompted one player to speedrun the first 10 games in the series in preparation for it.

Fans were first impressed when players started beating the game in 2 hours and now speedrunners have been able to beat the game in just under 25 minutes.

In anticipation of the upcomingLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, aspeedrunner known as Chimkin bested his previous record that was set last year at 21 hours and 15 minutes by completing the 10 games in 19 hours and 33 minutes. The list of games the speedrunner beat in order are:
The inclusion ofLEGO Star Wars: The Complete Sagain the run was a rather strange inclusion, as the game includes slightly a different version of the first 2LEGO Star Warsgames andLEGO Star Wars 3: The Clone Warsall of which he decided beat in the same run.
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagais set to include all of the content covered in previousLEGO Star Warsgames, albeit, entirely remade. It seems as though TT Games included as many characters as possible in the game from all of these movies as well, as theLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagacharacter roster leaked onlinelast week.
Unfortunately,LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagawill not include character creation. Many fans feel that this is a missed opportunity, as the option to use customizable characters has been a big part of theLEGOseries of games ever since it was first included.
In other news, anewLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagatrailer releasedfocusing entirely on the dark side. The trailer features villains from the entireStar Warsfranchise and included a few spoof-like jokes customary of theLEGOfranchise.
