AZelda: Tears of the Kingdomplayer known as AaronCarmackie on Reddit decided to show off their new Zonai laser tank on social media. The tank, which can be seen in a short clip of around 20 seconds, is compact compared to other designs made byZeldaplayers, but it has very powerful cannons that can destroy everything in sight. According to the gamer, this was not their first attempt at creating the tank. They originally tried to do it with only three wheels, but it was harder to steer the vehicle than expected. So, they decided to add a fourth wheel to improve the tank’s mobility, which led them to finally achieve this impressive result.
In the comments of the Reddit post, most gamers were pretty excited about AaronCarmackie’s creation. Norix596, for instance, commented on how cool it was that the tank had automatic closing doors. The trick was to set a spring inside the machine to close in position when the power is on, meaning that the player will enter the vehicle, and the door will close. Others, such as BrugSallos, who closely watched the video, were more impressed by the fact that AaronCarmackie spent enough time to get 20,000 units of Zonaite while only having four hearts of health, which is a very hard task now that the famousduplication glitch inTears of the Kingdomwas fixed by Nintendo.
Such freedom to create objects is one of the main reasons why everybody loves the newZelda. The game was a smashing hit after launch, asTears of the Kingdomsold over 10 million unitsin only three days. So,Tears of the Kingdomhas a pretty good chance of outsellingBreath of the Wild, and it has already carved its place as one of the most popularZeldatitles ever.
