The victims inTexas Chain Saw Massacreare at a bit of a disadvantage. After playing through several games, it becomes clear that the family has the upper hand in most encounters. This is likely intentional; anybody that survives in the movies is lucky as the merciless family tends to kill almost everybody that graces their home.

Some of the victims inTexas Chain Saw Massacrelive up to their role; they’re likely going to die and lose. But a few selections can actually flip the script, able to escape a good amount of the time. Extra points go to those who can not only save themselves but save their friends as well.

Stealth
If this list measured the ability to tank, Ana would be at the top. She’s got the highest Toughness in the game and her ability, Pain is Nothing, makes her take even more blows in addition to being immune to poison. But the issue with Ana is glaring; tanking is a terrible idea and generally not useful. Generally speaking, it’s almost impossible to survive after being found, even for Ana. Trading Proficiency and Stealth for Toughness is a poor idea.

With the worst Stealth in the game, Leland is a liability when sneaking around which is, unfortunately, most of the game. His high Strength attribute is fine, but there is no way he’s winning a straight-up fight with anybody in the family even so. His ability, Life Saver, can stun a family member briefly, sometimes enough for him to escape if the timing is right. But it’s tough to time and Leatherface is immune to it, so the upside just isn’t there.

Sonny is another character that sadly trades away Stealth for Strength and Endurance but his saving grace is Heightened Sense. He can hear through walls when activated and the ability has a low cooldown, so he can always confidently walk into a room without worrying about an ambush. He’s even better whenplaying with friendssince he can let the team know if the next room is safe or if the family is catching up.

Julie has the highest Stealth in the game which pairs nicely with the Ultimate Escape ability that allows her to run faster and longer without making too much noise. IfGrandpa gets fed, other characters will need to stay put and risk getting discovered. Julie counters this core move that family members will be regularly using and can escape more safely and rapidly than any other character.
While Julie might have the highest individual success odds, Connie gets the nod for the top spot since her Focused ability helps the entire team. So many games are derailed when family members hear a lock getting picked. Experts know where the escapes are and will regularly check to see if somebody is slowly opening these doors. But Connie can open the door in an instant and completely undetected, possibly saving herself and all the victims.
