Summary
Genshin Impactintroduced Dori originally in September 2022 with Ganyu and Kokomi. As one of the earliest Sumeru four stars, players had high hopes for her, and though she didn’t have a place in the meta, she had and still has her uses.Genshin Impactwould never drop a completely useless character after all. One of the players' biggest surprises about her was that she could use the Bell, which had no one to put it on before.
Dori is a good healer, though she can only do so with her elemental burst. The downside to this is that her burst’s energy requirement is fairly high, so she’ll need either a battery on the team or for her skill to be used wisely. She, like many otherGenshin Impacthealers, scales off of HP, so players should stack as much of that as they can manage into her builds.

Genshin Impact’s Dori’s Kit
When it comes to prioritizingGenshin Impact’s talents for Dori, the biggest concern is her burst, followed by her skill. Her normal attack doesn’t do anything for her rotations, so unless players plan to have some fun and make her a DPS despite her healer role, it should be ignored. Her burst will heal for a chunk of her max HP as well as restore energy for her active teammate.
Her second ascension passive increases the amount of energy particles her skill generates for every 100 Energy Recharge she has, capping the buff at 300 ER. With this, players should carefully considerhow to build Dori. Giving her as much HP and ER as possible is priority, so players should match the artifact sets to those needs. Sets like Ocean-Hued Clam, Maiden Beloved, and Tenacity of the Millelith are her best choices. Players can mix and match the sets to match their personal needs.
One ofthe best weapon choices for Doriis the Bell. For ages, the infamous claymore has had no uses, but at long last players can finally use it. Even better, for a healing focused build it’s her best option. Players should be able to easily R5 the Bell and give Dori the maximum buff with the shield it creates. This shield is made up of 32% of Dori’s max HP, and since she scales with it, players with an R5 Bell sitting around can capitalize on it.
As a four-star character, players are more likely to have numerous copies ofGenshin Impact’s Dori’s constellations. If not, the ideal stopping point for healer constellations is C4. This provides more healing bonus to characters being healed by Dori’s burst and raises their energy recharge when below a certain energy threshold. Since her other constellations seem more geared towards an Aggravate build, this should be considered her most important constellation for healer-focused Dori’s. However, her C6 is also fine, allowing her to heal party members through infused normal attacks.
When consideringDori’s best team comps, players should almost always pair her with a Dendro unit. Like this, players should consider putting some Elemental Mastery in her build. She is free-to-play friendly with her comps as well, and most five-stars do have a similar enough four-star that they could be swapped out. For example, one of her better teams is:
In a team like this, Kokomi could easily be swapped out withGenshin Impact’s Barbara. Not every team needs a five-star, though players who want to invest more into either a Dendro comp, a good team for Dori, or generally intoGenshin Impacta little more should set their eyes on compatible and flexible five-stars.
